18. Take My Hand

You approach him to give him a hand as Jimin and Taehyung paces first and the others tag along behind you, laughing and making fun of him.

Watching all of this reminded you of the time when Jungkook mentioned in his emails how girls were head over heels for him and out of any of those he chose to pay attention to you.

Witnessing all of this with your own eyes made you feel special cause at the end of the day he would have only eyes for you but yeah as said, reality sucks, you weren't his when you were supposed to.

The way his cheeks were flushed, his eyes half closed because of his wide smile, red ears visible to everyone to know how shy he was and witnessing his happiness right now was something you'd do anything to see every day.

You were going to take it away tomorrow morning. How rude of you to break him like this, so so freaking rude.

"Let me carry all of them for you." Jimin sweetly replied, his voice sugar-coated and hinting out a motive behind this gesture. If Jungkook remembers Jimin wasn't quite the type to be all sweet chocolates and candies. If it was Taehyung instead, he could've believed it.

But Jimin... mhm something was fishy.

"What?" Jimin asks, watching Jungkook standing in front of him with his arched brows, a little suspicious. Jungkook crosses his arms on his chest standing up and eyeing him and the branded gifts he was picking out from the floor.

Jimin constrained his smile hard as he collects them for him. "Is Jimin planning to take all the gifts for himself huh?" Namjoon questions eyeing Jimin with the same suspicion while piling his arms with gifts too as Jimin chuckles getting up, "Sharing is caring you know."

"I knew it!" Jungkook yelled out in a dramatic tone. "He just wouldn't help me for the sake of helping." as he added that sentence Jimin laughed out, "If you catch me, I'll give you back your gifts."

"You're kidding me." Jungkook deadpans.

"Come on!" And Jimin sprints away with Jungkook's congratulatory gifts as soon as he declares. Jungkook panics and hands over the remaining gifts from his hold to Yoongi deciding to compete with full strength and dashing out of the office.

"They're so innocent and childish." Jin uwu's, walking further with everyone as you take a few gifts from Yoongi and laugh at his comment striding towards the parking lot with everyone.

You watched how Jungkook loses his tie and pulls up his sleeves determined to catch Jimin who was enjoying teasing the hell out of him. He peeks through some random car with his tongue pulled out not being able to catch him, yet.

Jungkook growls and try to get a hold of him but fails miserably again. "Okay, that's it" Namjoon calls out for them, opening the door of his car, "Let's get in the car until and unless you want to be left alone here."

Hearing it, Jimin and Jungkook paced back to you all, whereas Jungkook screams out aloud, "THE ONE REACHING THE CAR FIRST GET ALL THE GIFTS!" You could see Jimin's eyes widening in shock while running toward you all, "THAT'S NOT FAIR! I HAVE BEEN SO FAR!"

"UNLUCKY YOU BAHAHA!" Jungkook laughs shutting his eyes and holding on to his stomach from the laughter, finally reaching the destination and stopping right in front of you breathlessly, stumbling and standing properly, "I won didn't I?" He huffed happily looking at you, as you stiffly nod, "No."
