Falling Sick Chap.15

Another two days went by without you hearing from Idia, you worried about him a lot and you decided to go see him yourself Instead of sitting and wondering anymore, true It was lunchtime right now but you needed to see him as It would give you relief that he was doing okay, especially after the deep talk you had with Leona the other day about your feelings, and the feelings you had towards Idia had Indeed changed a lot but you were still working out what It was, In the time he'd been avoiding you It made you only come to realize how your day wouldn't go well without getting his usual texts, not hearing his voice or seeing the cute smile on his face which In the last two weeks you'd missed him a lot, the feelings of friendship you'd had towards Idia you knew they'd turned into something else but you had doubts about it being what you thought at first so you wanted to be absolutely sure about it.

you made your way to Ignihyde as you headed through the mirror as It glowed, and as you passed through you then headed inside of their dormitory as you usually would, but just then you heard a loud sneeze echo throughout the place and your ears twitched, you continued up the spiral stairs until you headed inside just as you saw Ortho rushing about

"(Y/n) you're here!"

"Ortho? Is something wrong"

Ortho rushed up to you, "It's Big brother, he's sick with a fever and I don't know how to help!"

you silently gasped, "Oh my, don't worry Ortho I'll come help"

you followed Ortho as he took you to their room, and inside you saw Idia with his face flushed red all the while he had a look of misery on his face, but then as he let out another sneeze

"Achoo!"

his hair turned orange before It reverted back to it's usual blue, you went over to his side

"Idia?"

you touched his forehead to see that he was Indeed burning up, In which you knew this wasn't good at all "Ortho we have to take him to the Nurses Office"

"Okay, I'll lift and you carry his legs"

you nodded as Ortho lifted him up and you held his legs as you both slowly but steadily took him from their room, and soon to the Nurses Office where there wasn't a Nurse to be found at the moment, In which It was left up to you and Ortho to care for him right now, you and Ortho carefully placed Idia onto one of the beds as you started to pace a little bit

you started thinking, "Okay...I I think I know the basics of what to do, Ortho could you look for an Ice pack for me?"

"Okay!"

he went to grab an Ice pack as you brought the blanket over Idia some more, you then went to get one of the clean thermometers as you put it into his mouth, checking to see what is exact temp was and it was still not good, you removed the Thermometer 

just then Idia roused, "......?"

"Idia? are you awake"

Idia opened his eyes, "Wh....(Y/n)?"

you nodded, "you have a fever Idia, we're in the Nurses Office"

"hehehe...no way I'm perfectly fine"

you shook your head, "No you're not, but I promise you'll get better soon"

just then he wiped the sweat from his forehead, and Ortho returned with the cold compress which you placed onto his forehead as you tucked him in once again

Ortho came to Idia's side, "oh he's awake"

Idia blinked and closed his eyes, "I feel terrible..."

you went to get one of the paper cups and filled It up with water, "Here"

you guided the cup to Idia's lips as he sat up a little, drinking all of the water until It was gone but then his face started to flush more as you guessed It was because of the fever 

Ortho started, "I'll go try to find the Nurse,"

you gave a nod, "Okay I'll stay here"

Ortho then left as you started to move from Idia's bedside but then you felt him grip your hand

"Are you...leaving?"

"No I was going to sit over there In case you wanted to sleep more"

Idia looked you in the eyes, "Stay with me...please?"

you felt your heartbeat quicken, and a blush came to your cheeks but a gentle smile came as you sat back down at his bedside, just as he started holding your hand more and you gave It a squeeze In return as you heard the ticking of the clock on the wall

but then Idia started coughing and you went to go get him so more water, and he drank It before he settled back down but then Idia started sitting up in the bed, looking you In the eyes

"Idia? what's wrong"

he brought his hands onto your shoulders before he pulled you down, your face flushed as you found yourself resting against his chest but he didn't seem to be fazed by what happened, and you knew this probably wasn't good to do as he had a fever right now, you thought he might be out of it or delirious right now but even so no matter how much your mind told you to move

you didn't, you stayed there as you felt him envelop you within his arms and you embraced him back, but then you heard him starting to mutter something and your ear twitched

"...I'm sorry...gotta apologize to...(Y/n)...I didn't mean to...stay away"

you silently gasped as you looked up at him, feeling something stir In your heart as you heard his words just now as you knew what he was talking about, the way he'd been avoiding you lately 

you whispered, "I forgive you"

but then he stopped talking as he'd fallen asleep again, and you started to wriggle your way out of his arms as you needed to put more Ice In the compress, and you got a wet cloth to dabble around his face with as to help him cool off more, just as you felt your phone buzz

Leona: Where're You?

You: In the Nurses Office, Idia's sick with a fever so I'm here taking care of him

Leona: Ah I see

You: Yeah, but I sent Ortho to look for the nurse as she's not around

just then Idia moved the blanket off himself as he huffed and started unzipping his jacket, and you put down your phone as you started to wipe the area around his neck, It seemed like Idia was trying to speak but no words came out, and you covered him back up as you then put the compress back on his forehead, you could tell he was miserable right now, it made your heart ache to see him like this and you held onto his hand as you gave It a squeeze.

Later on when Ortho returned he still didn't find the Nurse, but he did find you now asleep as you held onto Idia's hand, he started coming over to wake you up but Idia started waking up

"Oh Big brother!"

Idia slowly sat up as he took the compress off his head, he looked around as he regained his bearings but then his eyes landed on your sleeping form as you held his left hand

"Ortho? what's (Y/n) doing here...what am I doing here?"

Ortho explained from beginning to end and Idia understood, he was sick with a fever and since there wasn't a nurse you took care of him while he was sick and delirious

Idia's grip on your hand tightened as he looked down at you, feeling his heart swell up with many emotions as his eyes started to glistened, he then brought his free hand to rest on top of your head as he lightly patted It "you...you're really"

"big brother are you feeling better?"

Idia nodded, "Yeah...much better but I still feel hazy...Ortho I think I know now"

"Know what?"

Idia cheeks turned pink, "How I feel"

Ortho's eyes lit up, "That's Great!"

Idia then started thinking when he get's a little better he should do something for you, a way to thank you somehow for what you'd done for him today as he was so grateful, but not just that he also wanted to do something to express just how much you mean to him.
