Popsicles Chap.10

A few weeks later...

The weather outside had gotten warmer which brought on humid days, and humid nights at times but you were used to this since you were raised In Sunset Savanna, but the students who weren't used to weather like this were having their own time trying to cope with It, and one day you'd woken up with your hair frizzy and Puffed up, but you didn't fret as much and worked to make It look nice despite that with It turning out cute as you styled it with little braids.

you were currently finishing up the lecture with Professor Trein, taking notice that he was more dressed for the change In weather, and his cat Lucius was laying out on top of his desk

you fiddled with one of your little braids as you then continued taking notes, but then you saw two of your fellow first year students whispering to themselves 

Ace Whispered, "why does Mr. Trein get to wear somethin cooler while we melt all day

Deuce whispered back, "well he's older than us and he's a teacher"

Ace let out a sigh, "It's so hot in our dorm room that I had to leave and sleep In the lounge where It's cooler, but Dorm head got on my case and sent me back"

Deuce leaned, "that's against the rules Idiot didn't you know"

"Hey! who're you callin-"

Professor Trein turned, "Trappola, If you would be silent and listen"

Ace quickly shut up and shot Deuce some angry looks, you'd never Interacted with them but you always saw them hanging out with Grimm sometimes, you thought they were a nice group of friends, just as you headed to the lunchroom you all of a sudden received a text 

Idia: Hey...um I was wondering if you'd like to come over, It's lunch now

You: Sure! I'll grab my lunch and head there 

Idia: Okay, see you soon

you smiled before turning your phone off, heading into the lunchroom you grabbed one of the apples and a sandwich that was already made but then you saw popsicles being sold, and they were selling fast as It was a hot day along with some specialty milkshakes made by ghosts 

you had an Idea and got the double popsicle, the blue one that was left before you left the lunchroom with your food as you headed to Ignihyde, and upon arriving you could feel the air was much cooler inside so you guessed Idia must've put together an air unit 

you started the usul route up into the dorm before you headed to his bedroom, knocking on the door with It opening as you saw Idia, he was wearing a short-sleeved shirt with his hair up, you were taken by surprise by his hair change and the said could be said for you with him

Idia blushed, "h...hey!"

you smiled, "you changed your hair, It looks nice"

sparks flew from his hair, and he smiled a little bit "really uh...thanks"

he then stepped aside as you came into his room, going to sit on the floor as you started eating 

"Did you eat already?"

"N...no Ortho's on his way back with some food"

just then there came a knocking on the door, and Idia went to answer as his ponytail swayed behind him and he opened It to see Ortho there, and he'd gotten Idia a slice of pizza along with some fruit which Ortho was going to make him eat as Idia didn't like that stuff, but he wanted his older brother to be healthy so he could live a happy long life 

 "O...Ortho you know I don't like fruit"

"I know! but It's really good for you Idia, just try some"

Idia then went to sit down next to you on the floor as he ate his pizza slice, all the while you ate your sandwich and he munched on his pizza In silence but then....

Idia's cheeks were pink, "you...you look cute with that hair"

you felt warmth come to your cheeks, and you heart thumped "oh, Thank you"

Ortho looked between you both with a curious expression, but then a smile came to his face just as he noticed the popsicles you'd gotten In the plastic wrapping 

"Popsicles?"

you nodded, "mhm, It's hot today so I thought to bring some here"

Idia looked to the popsicle, just as Ortho caught him "Big Brother finish the fruit!"

Idia mentally sighed, before he picked up the little cup of mixed fruit before he started eating It with some disgruntled noises, and when finished Ortho went to throw away your garbage

you picked up the popsicles and opened them up, before you and Idia grabbed a stick before pulling it apart as you exchanged a smile with each other, Idia then stuck his half in his mouth

"Oh, It's Raspberry flavored," you said

Idia nodded, "mhm"

but then Idia started thinking to himself *Wait a second...this whole popsicle thing is like from of the romance shows I've seen, the girl gives a popsicle to the guy she likes*

his face turned red but then he shook It off *Likes? Me? As if, I'm way out of her league lol and besides that we're friends*

you quickly ate your popsicle as It was starting to melt, just as your tail accidentally curled around Idia and you blushed while apologizing quickly "I...I'm sorry"

"It's f...fine"

Idia took a bite of his popsicle but then hissed, "no...."

"What's wrong?"

he sighed, "Brain freeze"

you scooted closer and rubbed his back as his brain freeze started going away, and he thanked you for the comfort but told you he was okay, giving you a smile that made your heart skip.
