3rd person pov

A sweet tune erupted from Miko's phone before she woke with an annoyed groan.She turned it off and rolled over preparing to go back to sleep.Right as she was about to close her eyes one of her dogs jumped on her bed and started licking her face. "Ok,ok I'll get up!stop kissing me it tickles" she chuckled before grabbing the white ball of fluff and cuddling it

Miko sat up and slowly sat the dog down unto the floor and headed to the bathroom to freshen up.

~~15 minutes later ~~

Miko got dressed and was now admiring herself in the mirror. The old Miko could never do that because she would be disappointed with how she looked, but the new Miko learned to love herself and her body dearly.

"How do you think I look pup?" Her dog barked at her while running in circles around her playfully. "I'll say you love how I look"

(Her outfit)

"let get you and cuddles some food shall we" She said as she skipped out of her room to the living room where cuddles was awake laying around

Cuddles immediately ran up to her happy to see it's master.
"Well good morning to you too cuddles!" She chuckled squatting down and petting the adorable little ball of fluffness.

After giving them their food she washed her hands before making her own food.When she was finished eating she put the leashes onto both of her dogs and head to her grandmother who lived close by.

After dropping off her dogs she headed to King's company for a interview. They only thing she didn't know was that the company is ran by of her ex husbands,since after the divorce she made a promise to herself to not even research or think about them.

After arriving to the company she stepped inside the glorious building and headed to the front desk."Good morning I'm here for an interview" the woman at the looked up from her computer to meet Miko's gaze before smiling softly "Ok, can I have your name please?" "Miko Hamilton" she replied returning the lady at the desk smile."Ok head up to the very top floor and wait for your name to be called "

Miko nodded before heading to the elevator and going to the top floor where she sat down among at least 20-30 other people.

While she was outside waiting Leonardo was in his office with Leo and Alexander scanning through the names on who to call in next for the interview the phone rang interrupting their thoughts. "I'll get it" Leonardo walked over to the phone and picked it up. "What" "G-Good morning sir there is someone I forgot to a-add to the list.Her n-name is Miko Hamilton" The woman on the other side of the phone said silently praying he didn't fire her for forgetting.

Leonardo stopped breathing for a few seconds as his eyes widen slightly. Could it really be her? Was it someone else with the same name?

All these questions ran through his mind. "Ok" he said hanging up
"What was that about?" Alexander asked "The woman at the front desk said Miko Hamilton was here for an interview"  both Alexander and Leo froze before snapping their necks back to Leonardo and gave him a look of disbelief. "You mean her?"
"Only one way to find out" Leonardo and the rest smirked for the first time in God knows how long.

Right after he said that Miko heard her name.She got up and walked into the office turning around to close the door and turning around to meet the 3 faces she hoped to never see again staring back at her with what looked to be...relief and happiness in their eyes?No that it can't be their happy to see me.They hate me,
so why do they look like that?I'm probably imagining it..right?

Miko was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Leonardo speak "Please,take a seat Ms.Hamilton"

First chapter done! I'm very happy about how it turned out and I hope you like it too.

By the way this book is going to be going very fast hence why I said short story.
