"What are you doing?" She asked puzzled looking at him.

"What do you think? I need a shower." He answered casually. Tumungo siya sa sa pinto pero hinabol siya nito.

"Max.. I'm asking you." Pahabol nito. He slowly turned his head on her. She's frowning. He smirked. Hindi niya maiwasang mapangiti sa inosenti nitong mukha. She blinked her eyes. Affected? Sounds good.

"You're asking me a what? Do you want to accompany me inside the shower room? Wanna join?" He asked playfully. Her eyes dilated in surprise. He was starting to like all her reactions.

"No!" She exclaimed. Naging malikot ang mga mata nito. "I mean why are you here!?"

He tugged a smile, "What do you think? It's our brotherhood reunion, that's why I am here. And, probably this is reserved my room." He answered back at pumasok sa loob ng room.

He took a cold shower to ease the heat that he felt for her a while ago.

"Hey, man! Stop imagining things. You seemed so miles away from here." Romy snapped out of his trance. He sighed and frowned.

"I was just a bit hang—" Oh. What would he say? Sasabihin niyang hangover na hindi naman siya masyadong uminom kagabi? Hindi niya malaman kung ano ang rason.

"Anyway, let's go surfing!" Pag-iiba niya sa usapan.

"Oh sure, wait there, I'll get the surfboard." He runs towards the cottage.

Nakahinga siya ng maluwag. Suddenly he saw Miranda walking, swaying her hips wearing a two-piece bikini, so much revealing. Not a good idea. Wala siya sa mood sa pangingistorbo nito.

"Hi Max! How are you? Where did you check in? Saan ka natulog kagabi?" She's asking while showing the best smile she could.

"Second floor." He answered back casually.

He watches the big waves on the beach. The heat of the sun is blazing. He had seen a few white people tanning themselves.

"Kanino ka nakishare? Sa pagkakaalam ko, the rooms were all occupied." Pangungusisa parin nito.

He took a glance at her and then looked somewhere else.

"Sa kwarto ni Rhean."

"What!? As in Rhean Louise? Your ex?" She blurted out with disgust. Nagseselos ito sa klase ng pagtatanong.

He frowned. What's the problem? They were sharing one room before. Hindi na dapat ito nagtataka.

Umismid ito, hindi nagustuhan ang sinabi niya.

"Let's go Max!" Rom called him. He nodded and followed him. Naiwan itong natigilan at halatang hindi makapaniwala sa nalaman. Wala siyang pakialam sa nararamdaman ni Miranda dahil wala naman itong kaugnayan sa buhay niya.

Tinanong niya si Daisy tungkol sa islang ito. The booking of flight and everything. Totoo nga ang sabi ni Max. Makakaalis ka lang sa islang ito kapag may emergency na nangyari. Kaya pala fully booked agad ang hotel. Magbabago lang daw ang mga schedules kung matatapos na yong isang hotel na inuumpisahan pa lang e-construct. And to her case, she thinks na malabong pagbibigyan siya ni Reeve besides they're not close as friends or whatever. She sighed.

This place is the cleanest beach she had ever seen. Masasabi niyang one of the best tourist attractions here in the Philippines.

And she also told her about their set-up na magkasama sila sa iisang room. Lahat, pati yong pagtulog nilang magkatabi kagabi na hindi man lang nila kapwa namamalayan. Nahirapan siyang kausapin si Max dahil tila hindi nito concern ang sitwasyon nilang dalawa.
