𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 ➳ 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬

𝟒𝟔. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞

"So um, how's Chris doing? Are you two still... Friends?" my mom asks after we got ready for the premiere. I'm wearing a pretty dress, Chris will like it! "Oh, um... Well, we're um... Actually, we're not really-" I try to carefully reply, but I get interrupted by someone calling for us, telling us that our car is here too now.

We all make our way outside, get in the cars and get dropped off at the premiere location. We get in through the back, and stay in one of the huge rooms filled with food and drinks for everyone before we can go see the movie. As we talk about how excited we are to see it, the door to the room opens.

"Hey baby, did you bring your-" Chris says as he walks in, immediately stopping the sentence as he sees my family. "Oh God..." I whisper to myself, closing my eyes for a second and getting really nervous about this, even though I'm proud that he's my boyfriend, it makes me nervous.

"H-hi! I uh, sorry, I didn't know you were here already" Chris nervously chuckles, looking at my family. "It's okay sweetie, hi! It's been such a long time, how have you been?" my mom asks, pulling him in for a quick hug. "I'm good, thank you! How are you all doing?" Chris asks in reply, followed by a full on conversation with my family about the movie and stuff.

"I just have to ask, I'm sorry, but I have to. What's the deal now? Are you two... You know, broken up? I mean, you weren't together and all, but yeah, what's the deal?" Sierra suddenly asks, causing us to stop talking. Chris looks at me after a few seconds, slightly raising his eyebrows.

"We're um... No, we weren't together when he visited us but uh... Well... We're um..." I stutter, before letting out a sigh. I want to tell them, I really do, but it's fucking nerve-wracking. Chris seems to notice, so he takes my hand and looks at my family.

"It's been about seven official months now" he says, telling them about us for me. My God, I love him. "Three months" I giggle, but he shakes his head. "Seven months, yup, definitely seven months" he quickly chuckles, looking at me now. My family tells us that they're all really happy, and that they saw it coming from a mile away.

"So what is it? Seven months or three months?" Sierra asks again, so Chris looks at me with a smile, like he wants me to decide. As I'm looking into his beautiful eyes, I realize that I agree with him. We've practically been together for way longer, and if we set the date to April 22nd, which means that it's been seven months, we can start our future sooner.

"Seven. It's been seven months" I finally reply, placing my hand on Chris' cheek as his eyes light up. He gives me the sweetest smile in the world, so I pull him closer and just kiss his lips in front of my whole family. I don't give a single fuck, he's my man and he'll always be.

We spend the rest of the day and night here, walking the carpet and watching the movie. After a little party at night, we make our way to the hotel and lay down after taking a shower together. We both check our phones for a second, cuddled up in bed. We fall asleep around 1am, and wake up again at 7am to catch the plane.
