"Hello?"
"Maks.."
"Did you girls find Jenna?"
"We did"
"Well that's good then"
"But Jenna wanted me to tell you that she wanted to maybe ca-"

"I'll go" a soft voice said
Meryl and Sharna stared at her in disbelief

"Hold on a second Maks.."

"Are you sure?"
"He'll hate me either way, I just need to see him happy.. At least for now"

"Sharna?"
"Sorry Maks, she just wanted to tell you that she err... might be a little late. Yeah"
"It'll be fine, I guess. Just don't be that late"
"Okay thanks bye"

"Let's go! Got a wedding to catch!" Sharna said, motioning them to the car

What on earth are those girls planning?
Why are they gonna be late?
That was what Maks had been thinking about ever since Sharna called. He walked around the room scratching his chin, not paying attention to anything around him.

Is Meryl alright?
Why did Sharna call and not Meryl?

Still not aware of anything he kept thinking, broadening his thoughts every minute. Then he jumped when he felt someone was tapping his shoulder, of course it was his one and only brother

"You okay bro? Whatever you were thinking about just now, snap out of it, we're leaving now"
"Oh yeah I'm fine, you look better than ever"
"Yeah? Thanks. Now let's go! Wouldn't want my bride waiting"
"Well actually.. Umm~ err~ agh~.. Never mind. Let's go"

The place the ceremony was going to be held at was further away from their house rather than Jenna's. Along the way Maks sat anxiously while hoping to get a text of some sort with an explanation. He stared out the window as they passed Jenna's lane and then taking a glance at his brother, seeing the wide smile he's had all day.

Please don't disappoint him, not today.

The ladies were having a major disaster. Jenna's mom almost passed out seeing Jenna in a sweatshirt and pants, everyone was in a rush, things were missing, glass were shattered all over the place from being bumped, people were fighting over make-up, brushes, etc. Meanwhile, Meryl and Sharna were trying to get Jenna ready in her room. Time was ticking. Meryl was busy doing Jenna's hair and Sharna was doing her make-up. In about an hour and a half Jenna looked perfect and all she needed was to put on the dress. They all finally caught their breathe knowing this. They took the dress that was laying on the bed and slowly and delicately slipped it onto her. She looked gorgeous, however when they were trying to zip it up, they had encountered another problem.

"Shit it wouldn't zip" Sharna muttered
"Here let me help" Meryl said, trying to pull the two fabric as close to each other as possible
They gritted their teeth while trying to pull the zipper up again
"When.was.the.last.time.you.tried.this.thing.on" Meryl said, using all her strength to pull the zipper together
"Um.. Like 2 weeks ago. Sorry, I thought I was going to have it all to myself"
"Well, the baby thought otherwise"

After what seemed like an eternity, the dress was finally able to get zipped up all the way. As of now, Jenna's mom had calmed down and entered the room to check on Jenna.

"Is that, is that my daughter in a wedding dress"
"Yes mom, it's me" Jenna said hugging her mother
"I can't believe my baby's getting married already"
"That's maybe because I'm not quite a baby anymore mom" Jenna said giggling
"But you'll always be my baby no matter what"
Jenna smiled and shed a tear, thinking of how her mother would react if she knew about the pregnancy

Time flew by and it was right about time for them to leave. Jenna took a last glance of herself in the mirror before facing her two friends.

"I think I'm ready now"
"You look gorgeous babe" Sharna said, Meryl nodding with a smile on her face

And then she felt it coming. Covering her mouth, she ran to the bathroom, the girls following her not long after

"Alright there Jen?"
"I just got morning sickness, sorry I look disgusting"
"It's fine. Here's some tissue" Meryl said, holding the box of tissues next to her

"Guys we have to leave to the ceremony now!" Someone yelled from downstairs.
Sharna and Meryl glared at each other not knowing what to response with while Jenna was dealing with her own problem.
"Just a few more minutes! We're uh doing some finishing touches!" Sharna yelled back
The girls rubbed Jenna's back, hoping that the sickness will be over soon.

But then, a puffing sound of someone breathing made Sharna jump to her feet.
"We seriously have to leave now or we'll be late." Peta said still breathing heavily
"Yeah just give us a minute" Sharna said trying to hide Jenna
"That's what you said 10 minutes ago. What's going on back there?" Peta said trying to peak over Sharna's shoulder
"Nothing's going on, everything's fine. Just meet us at the car" Sharna said trying to assure her
Peta was finally able to get a quick glance of Jenna
"Sharna, if everything's fine then why the fuck is Jenna on the floor?!"
"Shit" Sharna hissed while reaching for the door behind her and slowly closing it, taking Peta away from the bathroom
"What the hell is going on? First she was missing for a few hours and now she's puking in the bathroom"

'Just come up with an excuse Sharna, anything will do. Think of something. Don't let her know' Sharna thought to herself

"She had food poisoning" Sharna said quickly
"Seriously? I've known you for more than a decade, I know when you lie and right now you're lying to me"
"Peta we can't talk about this right now"
"Why? From all I see, we've got plenty of time since we're waiting for Jenna to get out of that bathroom"
"Because it's not my right to tell you. You can hate me all you want, just know that I won't break my promises."
Peta rolled her eyes and started walking downstairs
"Just remember that I was there for you when no one else was" Peta said before disappearing from Sharna's sight.

Tears started welling up in Sharna's eyes. She thought back to all the things they did together. All the smiles and unforgettable memories.

Was it all over?

She walked back to the bathroom where Jenna was cleaning herself up and Meryl was helping her. Meryl looked up at Sharna who still had tears in her eyes.
"Are you okay?" She mouthed
Sharna nodded with a slight smile
