Third Person
Dipper and Mabel were sitting in the back of the carriage. They were excited that they could come along on this trip. Stan and Ford were in the front with the map and stirring the horses.
Mabel started to ramble while Dipper stared into the woods. He saw a deer-like creature with vines and flowers stringed around its antlers. The fur was different shades of soft greens and hints of white. He unconsciously played with the black choker that was given to him when his parents died by his uncles. Well, to him it wasn't a gift.
Dipper made eye contact with the deer. He suddenly saw another eye form on the animal's forehead before the flowers started to glow. He let out a soft smile and waved at the creature before it raced away.
They stopped in front of a large gate and the twins admired the stones used to create the wall. Some of the rocks looked like stars were engraved inside, but that was how they were formed and they were beautiful.
"State your business here!" The guards only spoke Latin.
"I have no idea what he said," Stan whispered.
"We are here to meet with your ruler," Ford said.
Mabel and Dipper looked at each other as their great-uncles tried to communicate with the guards. Mabel knew that they were going to be here for a while. Ford and Stan forgot that they had the invitation that their king had sent them. Ford started to become upset and started to yell at them.
Dipper jumped out of the carriage and grabbed the invitation from Stan's bag still in the front.
"Good morning," Dipper smiled softly.
"Good morning," One of the guards replied.
"What is your purpose here?" The second guard asked.
"We received an invitation from your king to come inside the castle and see your kingdom," Dipper told them.
"May we see the letter?" The guard asked.
"Of course," Dipper gave them the letter.
They looked at the letter and shouted at the guard above to open the gate so they could come in.
"Thank you very much," Dipper told them.
"Here is your letter your majesty," The guard handed him the letter.
Dipper smiled, "Thank you."
Stan and Ford's eyes widened when Dipper had an entire conversation in Latin with the guards. They had no idea he spoke Latin. The twins knew several languages, but they knew for a fact that they were never taught Latin. It was demon language.
Dipper was about to go back into the carriage when Stan told him to sit up front. He was a little nervous since he kept this little fact a secret.
"We will be having a talk at home," Ford told him.
The guards led them to the castle. They saw people taking down decorations. Everyone in the kingdom knew that royalty from a human kingdom was coming.
Little kids were running around and helping the adults clean up. Some of them were playing around and when the carriage passed they all looked in awe.
"The carriage of the royals,"
"The humans look weird..."
"Humans don't have tails, idiot,"
"That's weird,"
Dipper chuckled softly and one of the kids noticed and pointed it out.
"I think that human understands us,"
"Pfff, no. Humans don't speak Latin,"
"I can prove it!" One of the kids shouted, "Wink at us if you can understand us!"
