i know you already know who this is from but i don't really care about it being anonymous. i just wanted to let you know how much you mean to me. from the first time we met, i immediately liked you. i remember the first time me you and monica were in a vc and you talked and the first thing i said to you was that your voice was so soft and pretty

AND THEN I HEARD YOU SING AND I WAS LIKE HOLY CRAP SHES SO COOL

anyways i remember the day you comforted me after i was so upset about my dumb teacher accusing me of cheating and almost giving me a zero on that assignment. and i remember wishing we were better friends

AND THEN you drew the two of us surrounded by fireflies and i knew in that moment we would be friends forever bc we've bonded over fireflies and travel and music and religion and friends and the stars and everything else that's brought us closer together.

i wouldn't trade the last year and so of our friendship for anything. you've always been there for me to talk to, you've never judged me, you always comfort me, and you never fail to cheer me up. you've been one of the biggest blessings in my life. you constantly inspire me to be a better person, and i'm so so so glad to have met you. i can't wait to meet you next summer and i can't wait for all the memories we're going to make together

you're honestly such a genuinely good person and you're so amazing. i can't describe how great you are. i wish we lived in the same town and got to be best friends, but i still cherish your friendship from 3,000 miles away because it's such a precious thing
