Fated to Meet

A group of men runs away fast as the siren echoes the whole avenue. They have reached a dead end and was trying to look for a way to escape.

"Boss, I think we have been surrounded." blurted one of his men who are trying to get rid of the bloodstain on his hand, on the other hand, the man in a leather jacket runs his fingers through his hair in frustration, he couldn't believe that his reign as a Mafia Boss ends here.

"How can this happen, we were careful enough to plan out this mission, what went wrong?" he mumbled as he refuses to believe in the situation. One of his trusted men spoke.

"Perhaps somebody gave us away boss." he glared at his trusted man, "Impossible, nobody else knows about this except you and..." he squinted his eyes and looks around, "Where is Jungkook?"

Meanwhile, a man standing on a rooftop not far from where the group was, is trying to observe the scene. He is somehow skeptical of what he did after all these men stood as his family for as long as he remembers but he just couldn't take how they treated those others mercilessly, especially the women and children.

"Am I doing the right thing?" he pauses as if he was waiting for an answer but he got nothing and chuckles on his own. "I guess that voice I heard was just my imagination after all, but why do I hear it every time I'm in trouble?" he took a sigh and suddenly heard gunshots.

"No, no, no don't fight back." he jumps on a stairway and runs towards the area where the gang was, as the gunshots continued to roar. As soon as he reached the place his eyes widened to see dead bodies lying on the ground. Not a single soul is spared.

"Jackson, what have you done? This is not what we talked about."," I'm sorry Jungkook but they fired the gun first and they refuse to be taken alive."

Jackson replied, Jungkook couldn't stop his eyes from getting teared up, sure he wants to put an end to the wrongdoing of his so-called family but never to end their lives. Guilt started to build inside him as he was the cause of his entire clan's death and he is now certain that the other clan will seek revenge for this and he as the only one alive will stir up suspicions. Jackson pats his back.

"You better hide for now man, I'm sure they will not stop until they will put an end to the traitor. Besides, think of your sister, they will use her to get to you. If you want to escape you better do it now." Jungkook without any hesitation left the place and run to look for Eva.

It was almost an hour when he reach the places he knows his sister would be working but he somehow can't seem to find her. He reached home and look for her in every area, "Eva!" he shouted, "Eva, where are you?"

A little later she came in by the front door, worried rush to her to see Jungkook leaning on a staircase with his head held low. "Jungkook, are you okay?" tears streaming down his face he answered, "I messed up pretty bad Eva, I killed them, I led them to their death,"

Jungkook told Eva everything and that they need to find a safer place for them to stay but where? "Don't worry I know a place, but this may be a bit shocking to you since you might think that no such place existed. But trust me, it's the only safe place we can go to." wiping his tears, "Anywhere but here Eva." she nodded.

"Alright but you have to promise me to do everything I say, it may be a safe place for us away from who is after you but those who are living around that place may not be that friendly."

" I put you to this, so it's only fair to follow your every word." she stood up, "Right pack up some of your stuff and meet you here in 10 minutes, hurry." he runs towards his room without any delay. Eva who is just watching him go said to herself, "I guess fate is having its way to bring you back to where you should be Jungkook."
