Let me save you

Chapter 4

Shadow, amy, and tails looked in all the places the hero could be he wasn't on angel island or at any of his favorite fast food places or the trails where the hedgehog would usually run which made the dark hedgehog become frustrated where have they not checked? 'Unless... No, but it couldn't be anything else'

Shadow growled lowly clenching his fists this caught the other two's attention "shadow what's wrong?" the small fox asked a little worried about how the ebony was acting "do you have an idea where sonic could be" amy asked holding her hands together in front of her chest but he didn't respond 'how could we be so clueless, where else would he have gone it was obvious that this was egg and doing' shadow thought chaos controlling to Eggman's base with tails and amy right behind him

"Eggman" amy muttered to herself as tails lowered his ears 'if sonic really is here then he's in big trouble' tails thought just as shadow started throwing chaos spears at the large metal doors leaving a large hole where the spears hit making a loud alarm go off with flashing red lights from inside the base, without wasting a second shadow skated inside as tails and amy started running after him amy already summoning her hammer ready for a fight.

As they were running through the long halls of the base they ran into a large group of robots heading toward them

Shadow threw chaos spears at the larger robots making them explode sending metal pieces around the room some piercing into the smaller ones making them stop working. amy was being just as destructive as she pounded robots with her hammer taking down any robot that came her way smashing their metal brains in as tails spun his namesakes throwing the robots on top of the other ones exploding them on impact, smoke filling the room as metal pieces stop flying the three had defeated every robot and quickly continued their search as they traveled through another hall there was one door that was left wide open

Shadow took the lead to go in with a chaos spear charged and ready in his hand as he stepped through the door the alarm stopped and the lights stopped flashing making a screen in the room turn on it showed a video of Eggman as he laughed "your too late, now sonics power will be mine and I will finally have my way without you ruining my plans" Eggman said laughing as the screen turned red showing a 5-second countdown, shadow acted quickly and chaos controlled all of them far from the base he looked up to see the fat man in his eggmobile laughing as his base in the distance exploded but stopped laughing when he saw them on the ground outside of his base he didn't expect them to survive especially for shadow to even help them, Eggman knew how strong shadow could be.

He didn't want to waste time or for the dark hedgehog to attack him so he tried to retreat but was almost hit by shadows chaos spear but something fell out of the fat man's eggmobile but Eggman didn't notice as he quickly fled "sonic!" amy yelled as she recognized the figure that was falling from the sky at a fast rate.

Shadow chaos controlled mid-air and caught sonic chaos controlling safely back on the ground holding the blue hedgehog in his arms he looked down at the hedgehog as he widened his eyes at what he saw the azure one was passed out his skin losing all of its bright color that it once had his eyes were all red his gloves stained red but the thing that caught the ebony ones attention was the stitches on the azure ones side. Shadow grind's his teeth at the state the blue hedgehog was in he looked horrible, amy and tails finally found shadow and sonic amy gasped shes never seen the azure one like this before he was always so full of life, tails lowered his ears as his eyes turned glossy from the tears that were starting to build up he couldn't look away from how limp the azure one looked as shadow held his brother, a tear escaping his eye-rolling down his cheek amy hugged the small fox to comfort him as shadow just looked at sonic swearing that he would kill Eggman the next time he see's him

Sonic was now in a hospital attached to many wires as his heart monitor beated slowly, all of sonics friends were in the room tails sat on a chair next to his brother they all just way he'd the hedgehog was still asleep everyone except for shadow he was standing by the door outside the room, he didn't feel that it was right for him to go In the room, him being sonics rival and all shadow just stood there for god knows how long

Just long enough till all of sonics friends left he hadn't even realized how much time had passed only until tails exited the room being the last person to leave.

He was still skeptical about whether or not he should go in but just went in anyway when he walked in the blue hedgehog's hands were wrapped in bandages and same as his chest the stitches were done poorly so the doctors had to redo them, shadow say down in the seat the fox had sat in before close to sonic he just looked at him he didn't know why but it just hurt the ebony hedgehogs heart to see the blue hedgehog like this even if he would hurt the azure one many times now was different he looked like he was on the verge of death.

Shadow put his hand on top of the blue ones and flipped it over starting at the bandages on sonics palm, he rubbed sonics palm with his thumb causing the azure hedgehog to start to silently pure but just loud enough for shadow to hear the ebony smiled at this and continued this action staying by sonics side

Please don't mind too much If I misspelled anything it's literally 2 in the morning I pick the worst times to make a chapter but anyway Yay! Sonic is safe now or is he? jk jk or am I?
