Make-up// Newt

It had been three days since you found out about Newt and his little bet. You hadn't gone out of your room since then and you had only opened the door for when Chuck came to give you your food. During that time Newt stayed at your door, speaking to you through it, every hour or so, begging you to forgive him. He tried to come in when you took your food but you closed the door in his face every time and after the third, where you 'accidentally' closed it on his fingers, he stopped.
You couldn't bear to hear his cries and pleas, it broke you and you wanted to open the door and let him rest on your shoulder while sitting on your bed but you forced yourself to remember what he did to you. Thankfully you had a toilet and shower in your room which is very weird but so useful!
"Please, Y/N, please..." - yes I just did that-
"Let me in. I'll make it up to you, I swear. I'll never hurt you or lie to you anymore! I just," he paused "I just need you."
These were the kind of words he would repeat to you all the time and it hurt you to hear them because you knew you couldn't trust him.
You didn't hate him though, deep inside you knew a part of you still loved him but you weren't sure if his feelings were true anymore. All those 'I love you's and those moments spent together, how could it be fake? Was it just a lie? (See what I did there?)
"You have 1 minute." You said coldly as you quickly opened the door, which he was laying on, so he fell, and that gave you a little bit of comfort.
"60..59.." You continued.
"Right! Yes! Um, I love you more than anything Y/N. You're everything I could ever ask for and the bet... It was only for fun at first but then I fell so completely and utterly in love with you, and I couldn't just back out of the net because Minho would get his panties in a twist and you know him. Anyway I love you so, so much, please forgive me?" He took a sharp breath in, for he had said everything without breathing. You looked at him, your face not giving away how you felt. In that moment, he looked terrified; terrified he would lose you.
You then realised how much he did actually love you.
"You have one chance, Newt. One chance."
"Thank you!" He leaned in to kiss you on the cheek but you just gave him a cold glare and he took a step back. "Yes, it was a bet..." He started, you were about to cut him off when he stopped you and continued "But... I did actually fall for you, between our late night talks and our work breaks spent together. And now, I'm hopelessly, madly , and utterly in love with you. You are the best thing that has happened since this bloody maze and I don't know how I would've kept the hope ,of leaving this shucking place, without you. I'm miserable without you and I know you don't trust me anymore but I will do everything in my power to win you back... I will fight for you until my last breath, because you're the one I love. I'll call the whole bet thing off, don't worry. I'll prove to you that I'm worth your forgiveness." 
"Newt..." You stared at him, your eyes glossy, not quite sure if it was from sadness or happiness. 
"I get it, Y/N... You can't forgive me, right?" He turned around, you could hear his sharp intake of breaths, and you knew he was close to tears. 

"Newt." You said, wanting him to look at you, at your smile, so that he could see that you wanted your relationship to work out, even thought he would have to work his butt off for it to be like before. He started walking away, slowly, but surely. 
"Newt!" He turned to you, looking up at you with a look of hurt. 
"Yes?" 
"I think I might like you too." You smirked.

Yes it has been 5 months, yes you should kill me, yes you shouldn't forgive me but YOU WILL BECAUSE IM THA BEST AMIRIGHT ? nope, i'm not. 
Anyway, i really am super super sorry but i had huge writer's block and with the whole school thingy starting again i was super busy plus a friend found out my whole wattpad username and yeah, that's always embarrassing, so i didn't really want to update but idk whatevaa im the best be jealoussssss jk don't be, you have literally nothing to be jealous about, trust me anyway if she ever ets to this chapter don't read my book because i don't want you to damn straight unless you think im super good at writing in which case worship me, thank you.
Anyway I love you guys so much and i can't believe how many views i have for this book like how even ??? I didn't think anyone would read this !!
