actually that is false if she wished to, she could choose to be riderless, she has just been taught that it is the greatest honor to serve the king, but her choice has not been taken from her, she has been brainwashed if you will, but she still has a choice, you lose your choice after you are claimed then you belong to your respective rider, again it's why eragon is hiding behind, his oath with saphira she is not bonded to him by ardanian law, but she is still bonded to him, it's a loophole eragon is exploiting" umaroth said

"saphira you must understand, eragon himself has very high expectations placed upon him, expectations which you can't help him with, while harsh, siphania's estimation was accurate you are nothing but a beast to them, and one who has wrongfully taken what should not have been yours, your bond was forced upon eragon, and that is by ardanian law highly illegal
and the fact remains it is you who has pushed that forced bond upon eragon, if you remember at first he did his best to avoid you, and he has now seen what a true bond can mean, you used him already when you forced him to ride you after practically manipulating him into running away from his home, you were technically the cause of his uncles death, you again manipulated him into a conflict that should not have been his, nor one he was remotely ready for as was obvious with the battle of farthen dur
you have forced an entire village into a conflict that should not have been there's all by your existence, and ours as well, since it was i and my compatriots that sent you to eragon instead of brom, and we have apologized for that it is another reason we are supporting him as we are, but you have played a rather large part in making eragon's life much harder then it should have been, you owe him much, and he has asked you for nothing, i would at least morally support him, since it was you who chose him to begin with" umaroth said saphira opened and closed her jaw he was right, she had forced herself on her rider, and or manipulated him into doing what she wanted, always believing it would be for the best for the both of them, in the end she brought her rider, a boy with no training at all, into a conflict where he could be enslaved or worse killed
"now you understand, that is one thing, that i agree with ardanian dragons, they do not manipulate their riders, for the most part they do everything to support them in whatever decision the rider makes, and eragon, eragon is the ideal king for a place like ardania, it is why when the war ends your bond with eragon will be broken" umaroth said
"WHAT" saphira shouted telepathically
"i can't saphira, i can't force you to follow me, but i also can't leave ardania now, it's my home and they need me" i said

"he has not told you, you can't come with however the point remains you are wrongfully bonded to him and not a proper bond either you share a mind link, that's all, a true bond between dragon and rider is much more, as you will see, soon, if you wish to stake your claim as eragon's dragon, while eragon would protest he wouldn't tell you no, because honestly he can't tell you no, you are incredibly precious to him, the only good thing that comes out of our forced bond, however if you choose to go down this path you will have no choice but to follow dragon law" umaroth said
"in other words we wouldn't be partners anymore" saphira said umaroth nodded
"and you will need to share him, as i have recommended siphania to become, eragon's proper dragon" umaroth said
"what about us, what would happen if we were to return to ardania" arya said
"you would be reintegrated into society, plain and simple, it would be an easy process as some of your kind is still in ardania, you would have to bend the knee to eragon as your king, other then that, you would be open to everything that ardania has to offer" umaroth said arya nodded noting that she would need to speak with her mother
"i need time alone, umaroth if you would conclude business i'm returning to our army i'm certain they have already set up my tent" i said
"of course i understand my king" umaroth said as eragon left the group walking towards the army
