Tommy POV

"Come on Wilbur! You have to help me come up with something!" Tommy exclaimed, laying down dramatically on his bed. He had been trying to come up with ideas for nearly an hour now.

Wilbur rolled his eyes, barely turning away from his monitor. "I told you I would help set things up. I never said I would help you come up with ideas. You're the mastermind of this plan, remember?" He quickly went back to typing away at his computer.

"But being the mastermind is so hard!" the blonde complained. He let out a sigh, staring up at the ceiling. "And it has to be good too! Techno deserves the best birthday we can plan!" He wanted to do something special for his big brother. Techno had been having a tough time recently, helping everyone with everything. He rarely ever took time for himself anymore.

"Why don't you go bother Phil? I do have to finish this, you know." Wilbur suggested, still pouring over his work.

"But you know Techno better than anyone!"

The brunette groaned, hating that Tommy was right. "Just throw a surprise party and give him a new book. He'll be ecstatic."

"But who do I invite?" Tommy asked, finally sitting up. "Techno is like the biggest introvert ever."

"I don't know! Dream? Ranboo? Just invite all of our friends!" Wilbur ranted, his fingers tapping on the mouse. "Now get out before I have to drag you out."

"But what about-"

"Get out!"

Tommy quickly raced out of the room, knowing he should take the threat seriously. He did not want to get dragged down the stairs again. He made his way towards his room, getting lost in his thoughts once more. Pacing in a circle, he attempted to find more ideas. A surprise party was a great idea. Inviting their friends was easy enough. But what was he going to get Techno?

That was the hardest thing to come up with. A book was easy. Almost too simple. Techno loved mythology to where he wanted to know everything about it. Or maybe a new case for his violin. But that seemed too predictable. Besides, he didn't know what to get. A stuffed pig would be hilarious. But that's what Tommy got him last year.

Running a hand through his hair, he took a deep breath. Why was this so hard? He loved his big brother and he knew him well. Yet, nothing seemed to be good enough. His eyes traced back to his wall, lined with drawings. Maybe... He shook his head, Techno would laugh like last time.

A knock came from his door. He looked up, "Come in."

The door opened to reveal an exhausted Techno. The pinkette smiled slightly as he met his blue eyes. "Hey Toms."

"Are you alright? You look exhausted." Tommy approached him, worry carved into his face.

"I'm alright." Techno chuckled. "What about you? I know streaming has been keeping you up lately." He looked down at Tommy, worry laced in his eyes.

Tommy couldn't help but look down. How did Techno always know? He shook his head, "It's nothing." Techno had better things to worry about than him.

But Techno wasn't that quick to let it go. He rolled his eyes, grabbing Tommy by the arm. "Come on, let's go watch something." The blonde gave up the fight, just deciding to comply. Techno brought him to the couch, tossing him the remote before heading towards the kitchen. "Don't choose Up!" he called.

Tommy rolled his eyes playfully, slowly switching between the possible movies. He couldn't help but stop on his favorite movie. He sighed, knowing Techno wouldn't want to watch it for the second time that week.

Techno chuckled behind him. "I was just kidding Toms." he smirked, squeezing in beside Tommy. He placed a bowl full of popcorn in front of him.

"Are you sure?" the younger bit his lip.

"Come on hit play!" Techno insisted. He grabbed a handful of popcorn, shoving it in his mouth.

Tommy quickly hit play, raising an eyebrow towards the older. "What happened to you being exhausted?" His eyes landed on the dark moons that lay under the pinkette's eyes.

"You're happiness is more important." Techno grinned, his eyes finally glued to the screen. "Besides, I wanted to test myself. I wanted to see if I had the entire movie memorized."

Tommy rolled his eyes, shoving him playfully. "You jerk. We don't watch it that much!"

"Only three times a week."

Tommy couldn't help but laugh, leaning into the older. Techno wrapped an arm around the blonde in response, unable to hide his smile. They laid their for hours until Techno was snoring away.

Tommy grinned, he was going to find the perfect gift for Techno if it killed him. His big brother deserved the perfect gift. He just had to find it.
