Pirates Of The Caribbean

When Johnny told me there was going to be a new Pirates Of The Caribbean movie, I couldn't help but to explode with excitement. Captain Jack Sparrow had been his rock since he got the part in the first place. He fell in love with the character so much, building him from the ground up (in his words) and being able to change so many lives with one single character. I believe I was more excited than him that he could progress Jack's story more. He invited me to everything, the table readings, the production meetings, everything. Jack Sparrow was one of my favourite characters of his which made it even more fun and exciting for me. Then it came to filming the movie, the part I was ecstatic for. He invited me to watch him act too. I had never seen Johnny act out his parts in person before, costumes and all. The only time I saw his work was when I watched the movies when they were released in the movies.

Johnny and I met at a movie premier. I starred in the movie as the main character. He was invited along too. We were both at the afterparty of the premier when we bumped into each other. I was going to get a drink from the bar and he was on his way to the bathroom. After he had went, he found me again and we started talking about each other's careers and how we both admired them. Small talk became a one-night-stand but in the end, we had both caught feelings for each other which led to us becoming a thing. Now, we are 2 years strong. We have had our red carpet debut and are happier than ever with each other.

"Ready?... 1... 2... 3... open your eyes!" Johnny yelled, excitedly. He left his costume and make up a surprise from me. As I removed my hands from my face and opened my eyes, I didn't see Johnny anymore... I saw the Captain. Captain Jack Sparrow. I screamed, like a fangirl, then ran up to hug him.

"You like all this, love?" Johnny said in the iconic Jack Sparrow voice.

"I love it, baby. You look so good!" I responded, still a little bewildered and how much better this character looked in person.

"Johnny, you're on in 5!" Someone called from outside the trailer. Johnny nodded and lightly pecked my lips.

"Time to go." He said, opening the door for me to leave first. I smiled at him then walked out of the trailer.

The time came for Johnny to fully get into character and play his part. I was really interesting watching his personality change from his own to Jack's. Watching him become a drunk pirate from a sober actor was absolutely fascinating. I loved every moment of this day. The scenes were incredible, Johnny's comedic timing was impeccable and watching the camera shots from the screen behind the camera was absolutely beautiful. Everyone was called off for a 15 minute break, which was Johnny's cue to immediately sprint over to me with the iconic run of his character and dive into my arms.

"You did an incredible job, my love. I'm so proud of you!" I complimented him.

"Thanks, dearest," He replied without breaking his character, "I'm glad you're here to watch me do my thing."

After the break had finished, Johnny and the rest of the cast went off to finish filming the scenes for the day. It was roughly around 9:00pm when they had finished. I never would have thought I would witness filmography as grand and beautiful as this. Johnny and his co-stars did an amazing job and I couldn't be more proud of my handsome partner and his alter-ego, Jack, for creating such a beautiful piece...

He still didn't watch the movie when it was released though...
