LOVING YOU WAS THE MOST EXQUISITE FORM OF SELF DESTRUCTION.

"I'm coming to pick you up right this second." Kennas voice practically yells into the phone.

Yes Elias refused to take me home and simply walked out of the - his room without a care in the world.

I could've left but it was too early in the morning to be out and I had no idea if my dad would be up or not.

"Kenna you don't have to do that" I chuckle softly into the phone.

Sure I had absolutely no idea where I was or how is as going to get back to my house but you know...

"I'm on my way... I can't believe that idiot wouldn't just pick up the fucking phone."She says mumbling to herself.

Before I could reply Kenna quickly bids me goodbye telling me she'll be there soon and before I even have enough time to protest she ends the call.

I stared at the black phone in my hand. I have to give it back to him.

I asked Elias to borrow his phone to call Kenna since my phone was gone. I must've dropped it somewhere. It was broken anyway but it was still my phone. It sort of gives you a sense of security.

I'll have to load more hours at the library if I want to try and get a new one.

I sighed quietly to myself. I should probably leave the room and thank Elias for letting me use his phone although he probably act like he doesn't hear me.

I mean I've tried to thank Elias multiple times for everything but he refused to hear it. I knew I was being a bother and the least I could do was thank him but it was an epically embarrassing failure.

I was starving. My stomach grumbles on cue. Well I'm definitely not going to ask for food so my stomach needs to take a rain check.

I grip Elias's phone in my hand and begin walking to the door.

I keep my hand plastered on the door knob...

I could just stay in here and hide forever.

Open it

Close it

Open it

Close it

I whip the door open a little too hard from the nerves overtaking me.

I need to be evacuated.

I let out a loose breathe and lift my eyes up and take in the view.

Holy chickpea's

I don't think I've ever seen anything this pretty. I take a small step forward onto the white marble floor a clear distinction from the dark of the room I was in.

This place was absolutely beautiful.

I walk down the narrow hallway plastered with marble and crisp clean floors. Nothing seemed out of place here.

I roamed my eyes everywhere and took in the beauty of it all.

I was still just in the hallway but I've never stepped foot in anything this grand.

My steps echoed as I neared closer to wherever this hallway was taking me.

I finally reached a left turn and was stunned to be met by the burst of sunlight right in my face.
