Makima stood there, facing Y/n. Y/n looked back at her with glowing eyes, like a Jack-o-lantern. Suddenly, he disappeared with a loud crack from the road underneath him. A deep gash appeared on Makima's shoulder.

One of the Makima's men fell.
Another gash appeared on her back.
Another man fell.
Makima quickly held up her arm.

In a split second, Makima's arm was on the ground. Blood leaked out and formed a dark-red puddle.
Another man fell.
Makima looked around. He could smell him, but the scent was moving around so much that it felt like it was coming from all around. His movements were confusing her senses.
He was there and then here. He was moving too fast. She could pin down his location.
One by one her men kept falling, having cuts, gashes, crushed skulls, mutilated limbs, and snapped necks.
Makima held out her hand, "1000 years."
The flesh halo returned and from it, the cosmic spear appeared. She grabbed it, aimed, and closed her eyes.
She concentrated, she could sense it ever so faintly, his movements. She waited for the precise moment. Her eyes snapped open and the spear rocketed forward.
There was a loud crack as the head of the spear splintered into little pieces.
She suddenly noticed something. It felt darker than usual. She looked up and saw the sun dropping from the sky and then a second after she was staring at the moon, and then after another second, she was staring at the sun again.
The movement of the sun and the moon were getting faster and faster, blurring together.
