JAY GETS INTO HER CAR and begins to drive to evans house which about an hour away. once she gets there, she knocks on the door.

"hey." evan says. without replying jay walks in.

"what do you want to talk about?" jay says bluntly.

"i just wanna know if you're relationship with this vinnie dude is serious." evan says.

"yes it is. i don't know how that's any of your business."

"why'd we break up then?"

"because. we were toxic and you know it. the only reason we were together was because i was caught up with you and you liked that i was into you."

"no. we were together because we loved each other. i love you-"

"stop! go find someone else to love. you ruined my chances of going to college because you wanted me to go with you to fucking l.a. and my stupid ass listened to you."

"i'm sorry jay."

"you're not fucking sorry." they stay silent for a while before evan finally breaks the silence.

"i'm moving to new york."

"good." she says looking at the ground.

"i thought i could try to get you back before i left."

"you thought wrong. i'm done with you."

"then why'd you come?"

"because... you were right. a little piece of my heart still belongs to you." it goes silent again.

"can i at least hold you one last time?" jay nods and evan doesn't hesitate to hug her.

"we're not good for each other." she says into his shirt.

"i know." they hug each other a little tighter before letting go. 

"bye, evan."

"bye, jay." he says before she walks out of his life.

JAY STOPS THE CAR AND WALKS UP TO THE DOOR AND KNOCKS. 

"hey." vinnie says opening the door. 

"hey." jay says. 

"come in. i was just about to end my live." jay goes in and sits on his bed. she waits for him to end his live. once he does he joins her on the bed. "so what's up?"

"i went over to evans house." she blurts out. the smile on his face slowly fades.

"why?"

"he wouldn't leave savannah and dev alone. it was impulsive but i'm glad went because he told me he was moving to new york." 

"i'm happy if you're happy."

"sorry you had to end your live."

"it's okay. i was getting bored anyway." as jay was about to answer, they both get texts from the group chat.
