Coy - Realm of Paradise
Everyone was already gone. While I was just there. Sat on the floor, quite horrified. I'm only twelve and I'm being sent on this adventure. I loved adventures back home.. but it just doesn't seem the same here.
I was sat there, hugging my knees for a few minutes before two guys were stood in front of me. I looked down at their shadows first then looked up. They both looked so cool!! The slightly older ( older by like two years) one had cyan blue hair and blueish green eyes and the other guy had light blue hair with white eyes. I looked so admired by them. The older one knelt down and looked at me in the eyes.
"Hey kiddo, what's your name?" Xe asked.
I could barely even speak. They looked so cool!!
"I'm Coy!"
I said in excitement. The guy behind him laughed.
"That's sweet!"
They said. "I'm Arius, and the guy knelt down is Malaki."
They even had cool names!! Malaki laughed. They put their hand on my head and ruffled my hair. I let out a laugh and looked up to smile at the two.
"Do you two come from lullutie!!"
I asked, again, in excitement. I always loved learning about the other realms even though no one believed me that they existed.. but I still studied them!! My moms just thought it was some hyper-fixation I was having again. I had them quite a lot and then I lost them after a few days or weeks.
"Indeed we do! And we aren't that scary. The lenevent helps us to hide what we actually look like."
I looked at Malaki quite confused.
"Lenevent? What's that? I never heard of it studying your realm?"
Arius laughed.
"Aww, you studied our realm! How sweet."
"Lenevent are these crackers that are filled with magic and they help us hide as normal people. It's mostly to scare kids."
Explained Arius. I was just getting more and more fascinated by the second.
"Take me to your realm!! Please?"
I asked, really hoping for a 'of course' or a 'sure'.
"Fine kid. But first we have to get our realm portals working. Okay?"
Said Malaki with a smile looking down at me. I nodded and smiled back. I got up off the ground and hugged Malaki unexpectedly. Of course, Malaki themself weren't expecting it. I could feel him hugging me back and that just made me smiled even more.
Me, Arius and Malaki were walking around for quite a long time until we found an underground tunnel. It looked like it had been destroyed before and it was really overgrown. Arius and Malaki weren't so sure about it but I was really excited to see what it was all about. As I said, I loved adventuring and imaginative stuff. I ran into the tunnel without thinking while the other two said,
"We'll be down there in a second!"
Inside the tunnel it was, disgusting. Everything was so overgrown and destroyed and the smell was unbearable. I looked behind me outside of the tunnel and I couldn't even see Malaki and Arius. Did they just leave me? Like that.. I was so excited that I finally had at least someone to talk to. I stepped back into a wall and slide down until I was sat down. Yet again, I'm left behind. I put my hands over my eyes and tried not to cry. I may come from the Realm of Paradise but my life isn't so easy.. Ignored. Misunderstood. Because of my interests and who I am as a person. I also had wished to be shown that I wasn't that bad of a person. Maybe even shown that I was maybe just slightly loved by someone?..
"Hey what's wrong?"
I looked up to see four people standing in front of me. I don't really remember two of them but I do think the other two were named Athena and Victoria? My eyes were quite red from trying to stop myself from crying. The girl that asked me what's wrong knelt down and hugged me. I felt a tear run down my cheek. The same that Malaki did to me, this girl was doing again. She introduced herself as Arella and the other three to be Donna, Athena and Victoria, two of which I already knew. Athena was the one who welcomed me into the portal garden. Zir was really nice and understanding. I pushed away from the hug with Arella and run over to hug Athena. I knew her and I felt more comfortable with zir. She smiled down at me and just patted me on the head. Victoria also smiled at me. I hadn't really spoken to Victoria much, mostly Athena. But Athena did talk about Victoria in a positive way so I smiled back at Vic.
"What are you doing here?"
Asked Athena with a bit of concern to zir's tone.
"Why are you here all alone? I thought you were staying at the portals."
I looked done at the floor in a slight amount of guilt.
"Those Malaki and Arius people pretend to enjoy having my company.."
Athena looked down at me and spoke up again saying,
"Malaki and Arius don't know what's the best. They don't even know each other let's be honest. And they are out here judging an amazing little kid. They might not enjoy your company but I know I will. And Victoria and Donna and Arella. Okay? Who cares on what two guys think!"
I looked up and smiled at Athena. I looked back at Victoria and Arella to see that they were smiling and they were quite excited while Donna didn't really seem to care, it just had the same expression the whole time. I was honestly confused on how she could keep up the same face the whole time. It was confusing. I hugged Athena.
"Am I aloud to go with you guys?"
I asked.
"I don't wanna be alone again.."
"Of course you can! Even if Mrs grumpy doesn't allow it! It's three on one sucker!!"
Arella yelled, and pointed at Donna at the last part of her sentence.
The five of us were walking for a few minutes down the tunnel. It started to get colder by each time we went further into the tunnel. I was rushing ahead a little and just talking about what I was hyperfixated on again until I got distracted. Then carried on. Then distracted again. But you get the point! I turned around to see some sort of bright spec at the end of the tunnel. I showed it to the other four and they suggested it could be the end of the tunnel. And I agreed. So we made it all the way down the tunnel which took us about 15-20 more minutes and it was so worth it.
At the end of the tunnel, it looked like a whole other world. There was a huge waterfall and the grass was brighter than ever. There were barely any clouds and it just looked so peaceful. There was a pond with tons of flower bushes and just tons of flowers in general. It looked like a whole paradise. I started ranting to the four girls about how stunning the place was. Until, there was a rustling from the bushes. We turned around and I was shocked of who it was.
