*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Isabella clutched unto the glass tightly as tears still slipped down her eyes as she tried to explain how she ended up there.

"I was.... like... walking back to my dorm and......i can't even..." She stuttered as he signalled for her to stop as she used the sleeve of her long sleeved top to wipe off her tears.

She had totally brushed aside the fact that she was with her long time love and still felt her mind flashing back to the occurrences that had just taken place.

"I'm sorry. I might be a bit overdramatic but..." Isabella started as she tried to wipe off her face and comport herself.

But once again, she heard these voices echo in her head.

You were this close to death.

You shouldn't have taken a break.

What if....

What if....

She immediately grabbed the pillow from the top of the bed and buried her face into it, not wanting her favourite guy to see her cry pathetically.

Thank God!

Thank you dear lord!!

She repeated in her head as she couldn't help but let out the tears that wanted to, fall.

"I'm sorry. I'm not usually like this. Actually, I'm a big fan of yours" Isabella muffled out after few minutes of calming herself once again.

She had noticed how Aaron said nothing but just watched her cry and she couldn't help but feel he saw her as a pathetic little kid.

And she hated this.

Stop crying, damn it!

One thing she noticed was how his eyes darkened when she said the words 'big fanʼ.

She couldn't wrap her head around that sudden behaviour but ignored it, expecting him to say something as she looked at him with her puffy face.

She hated today and would have declared it the worst day of her life, if she hadn't met Aaron.

And this time, she was actually speaking to him, and he really was nice as they had said.

He really was as sweet as she imagined.

His day was shitty.

He had just broke it off with his girlfriend. He realised she was all about popularity and never really cared about their relationship.

It felt even worse when he had encountered a cultist attack just at his fucking doorstep.

And found this scared little girl at his doorstep bawling her eyes out in fear and shaking like a wet cat.

She must have been scarred by this occurrence and he couldn't help but feel pity for her in his bad state of mind and all.

He took her in out of pity and offered her a glass of water.

That was all he could do.

He wasn't going to make her feel at home and get ideas into her head.

The nameless girl cried continuously for the past hour and he couldn't help but notice something about her.

She was petite, frail looking, cried a lot and didn't even use swear words.

She looked so innocent and babyish and he immediately concluded that she was a fresher who was always pampered and spoiled.
