Cavalry battle

"So whats the plan deku?" Uraraka questioned, fired up for some reason

"Well let's see, my, Tokoyami's and Kacchan's quirks are all assault based and yours is more of a support kind of quirk." Izuku started

"How long can you use your quirk on multiple people" Izuku questioned her

"You're not suggesting..." Bakugo started but Izuku cut him off by saying "No, we're not just gonna playing with waiting game even though we have 10 million points". He already knew what Bakugo was thinking

"In what way" Uraraka asked

"Mobility, like making our clothes lighter" Izuku explained

"Probably around 20-30 minutes"

"That'll do nicely"

"Ok so here's the final plan, Uraraka, you'll be in front, Kacchan and Tokoyami on either side and I'll be at the top. I'll guard the headbands and steal them from other teams, Uraraka you'll have to scout out anyone that either of us can't see coming towards us and Bakugo and Tokoyami, you guys deal with other people on ground level."

"Ok so does everyone understand" Izuku questioned to which they all nodded and got into formation

"And... BEGIN" Midnight shouted

As soon as Midnight shouted out those words a majority of the teams rushed towards Izuku's team.

'Just as expected' Izuku thought as his team ran headfirst into the other teams intending on taking them all on at once.

Just as they had planned Tokoyami used his shadow quirk to attack the ones carrying their leaders and Bakugo doing the same with his explosions while Izuku grabbed their handbands.

Then a surge of Ice enclosed them in a circle with one team opposing them, team Todoroki consisting of him, Yayurozu, Kaminari and Iida.

"Be careful, they're planning something" Izuku said to his team

Indeed team Todoroki was planning something as blue flame burst from Iida's engines, in a burst of speed Todoroki managed to grab all of team Midoriya's headbands from Izuku as he Iida started speeding off.

"NOT HAPPENING" Izuku said as he launched himself towards team Todoroki before they could get to far.

He grabbed onto the headbands Todoroki had on his head pulling this head back and slipping a majority of them off his head(including the 10M headband) which caused Todoroki's left side to ignite with fire which slightly scorched Izuku's gym uniform before he kicked the air to propelling himself back towards his team where they were ready to catch him.

"WARN US BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT" They all but Tokoyami shouted at him simultaneously.

"Yeah, sorry." Izuku said putting the headbands over his head

"Times up" Midnight announced before anyone could do anything else.

"Alright folks, we'll be having a quick break before the next round starts" Present Mic said over the load speaker

Ojiro and another 1B student named Nirengeki Shoda walked to Midnight and asked to not participate in the next round since they had no recollection of the previous match. Ojiro then warned Midoriya of Shinsou's quirk knowing that he'd be fighting him according to the pole of contestants who were moving on to the next round.

The remaining students of class 1A were talking amongst themselves about the next match but noticed that Midoriya and Todoroki weren't there, Bakugo too but that was normal.

"So what did you call me here for?" Izuku questioned looking at Todoroki across from him in a hallway

"Are you..." He started in serious tone "All Might's secret love child?" He finished

"Wow I didn't know you had a sense of humour" Izuku said chuckling a bit

"I'm being serious" Todoroki said, his tone and expression unwavered

"No All Might isn't my dad" Izuku replied

"Well either way I will beat you, you're my goal, everything about screams out All Might and somehow you managed to get me use the bastard's power"

"Why do you wanna beat All Might so badly and what power are you talking about?" Izuku questioned

Todoroki sighed deciding he might as well explain it to him

"Do you know what quirk marriage's are?" He asked

"Yes- when two people have an arranged child or children so those children can have more powerful quirks though in recent times they have become illegal" Izuku answered

"I'm the result of one"

Izuku felt both shock and sympathy but didn't let it show much on his face.

"My father paid off my mother's family because of her ice quirk"

"Why would your father the number 2 hero no less do something illigal just to have powerful children"

"Because he wants to beat All Might, he himself can't beat him so he forced that goal onto me, he abused and neglected me and my siblings and drove my mother away, that's why I'll never use that bastard's power"

"While that does piss me off, you have to realise that you don't really stand a chance against me if you don't use your full power, it's your quirk not his"

"My quirk ay?" Todoroki questioned himself as he walked away

Bakugo who was listening from the corner also walked away thinking 'I can't believe Endeavour is such a piece of shit'

Arena

"All right ladies and gentlemen on the right we have the boy whose been slaying all our challenges, the one and only Izuku Midoriya"

"And on the left we have Hitoshi Shinsou from general studies."

Both opponents walked onto the stage and stared each other down.

"Begin" Midnight announced

The match was over in a few seconds as Shinsou was seen crashed into the wall on his side of the ring and Izuku standing where Shinsou had been standing before

"Uhh...Izuku Midoriya wins"announced P Mic over the intercom

Izuku walked over to shinsou to help him up before saying-

"You should be proud, no other general studies student could make it this far"

Shinsou scoffed at the compliment until he heard his friends from the General studies course which formed a small smile on his face

The rest of the matches went on with Iida being used as a marketing stunt by Mei Hatsume who wanted to impress scouts from different hero agencies looking for support course students to make support gear for heroes of said agencies and took herself out of the arena after doing so, Kaminari frying his brain against his opponent who he still lost against then it was time for Uraraka to fight Bakugo. Izuku wished Uraraka good luck before she headed to her prep room

"So it's obvious who's gonna win right?" Kaminari sais

"I hate to say it but Bakubro is easily gonna win this" Kirishima said

"I wouldn't be so sure of that" Izuku said making all of them turn to him

"Uraraka has a very decent chance of winning if she plays her cards right and fights him up close and tries to avoid getting him to use his quirk but Kachan's natural battle instincts are her only obstacle"

"What makes you so confident in Urarakaz ribbit?" Asui questioned

"Ever since we started at UA she told me she's been training herself on martial arts since she realised that her quirk wouldn't be enough."

"Now keep quiet it's about to start"
