Direction, Flashbacks, and Events
I wanted to make every scene or event in the story to actually make sense to be there and not just add random crap with poor direction. Whenever I do a flashback in a chapter, its supposed to reference an event that's already happened in the past and not something that's gonna be considered "fodder".

For example, Kagari's flashbacks of his father, Kagaya.
Kagari's father is dead, and his flashbacks of him can give the reader some insight of his character, as well as Kagari and lets the reader get a grasp of what makes Kagari as a character.

It's not the, "I want to have power to save everyone" excuse. That can be seen 70% of Harem anime like this loser uses.

Back to what I said about characters. I pulled characters from different animes and put them in my story. Examples are....
