I miss you so much it hurts.
Sometimes i burn away
In my thoughts so profound that there's
Nothing left to say.
Seeing your face one more last time
Would make my day.
Can we rewind to those times.?
Back to those happy days,
Back to my crazy ways,
Back to when life was easier to live
With you in it.
Now that you're gone it's getting harder to believe.
I relive those happy moments we had.
The jokes you made and your laughter.
YOU were the best dad-
One could ever have.
And you still are.
You are the closest to my heart
any person could ever get.
Take me to the first day we met.
It's that memory I wanna get back
And never forget.
You taught me love and respect.
You lived your life with no regret.
And for that...
I'm truly glad
To have someone like you as my dad.
