"Soo-jin!" I smile walking up to the girl.
"Hey Y/N" she says with a strained smile. "So, I was thinking about what you said the other day" I start linking arms with the girl. "We shouldn't go out this Saturday as I have a thing with my family, what about Friday??" I say. She's quiet for a minute. "I think I'm doing something Friday" she says. "Oh, what?" I ask out of curiosity. "Just studying and working" she replies stiffly.

"Oh, well maybe we can hang out another day then?" I suggest. "Yeah, maybe.." she says. As we walk towards the class room Soo-jin rushes to join Soo-ah and Jugyeong. I follow slowly behind taking my seat behind Soo-ah. "Good morning!" Soo-ah smiles. "Good morning" I say. Soo-ah gives a small smile before turning towards Soo-jin. "Soo-jin my mom said it was okay for you to come over Friday" Soo-ah says.

As I hear the girl I look over at Soo-jin. "Great! Should I rent the movie??" Soo-jin asks. "No, just bring some snacks in your way over" Soo-ah says. "I thought you were busy?" I ask gaining their attention. "Well, I'll be busy throughout the day, but I should have time to go over to Soo-ah's house" Soo-jin says. "Oh, yeah makes sense, sorry" I say.

It kind of bothered me that Soo-jin was going to Soo-ah's but I brushed it off as I didn't want to seem clingy. "Hey Y/N!" Jugyeong says with a bright smile. "Hey Jugyeong" I smile back. We both start pulling out books as I thought of something. "Jugyeong" I say. She turns toward me giving me her full attention. "Are you busy Friday?" I ask.

"Oh, I'm sorry I already have plans to sleep over at Soo-ah's house" she says. "So both of you are spending the night?" I ask. The three girls were silent. "Well is there room for one more?" I ask. "I don't think so Y/N.. my mom said not to invite too many people over" Soo-ah says.

"It's just one more person" I say. "Yeah, but we've been planning this for a few days and my mom is just planning for three people" Soo-ah says. The four of us sit in silence as the teacher walks in. The rest of class I questioned why they didn't ask me to join if they've been planning this for a while. The bell rings and the girls get up. The three walk out hastily. I decided it'd be best for me to stay in the classroom for now.

Mom~ what did Soo-jin say?

The text I've been dreading to respond to. My mom liked all of my friends and I didn't want her to think they didn't like me so I made up a little lie for Soo-jin.

Y/N~ she can't this week, she's got a family thing

Mom~ that's a shame, especially since you already bought the tickets

Y/N~ it'll be fine mom, I'll just go by myself

Mom~ I can go with you

Y/N~ no it's alright you don't like horror movies, I'll just go myself

Mom~ well it wouldn't hurt to see if anyone else is free Friday and could go with you

Y/N~ I'll see about it mom

Mom~ great! I'm headed back to work, see you at home

Y/N~ see you at home

I put my phone back into my bag. I check the time and make sure I have enough time to use the bathroom and get back in time for class. I walk to the girls room and close the stall behind me. I hear more people walk in as their shoes hit the tile. "I have a question" a girl says. Another hums for her to go on. "Why didn't we invite Y/N?" she asks. My eyes grow wide at the mention of my name. I can't help but to peek through the crack of the stall.
