A/N

This is an alternative part of a chapter for a book that I absolutely adore,

it's called "The boy with the mismatched eyes" and the amazing author is the one and only @JennaTheDarkOne

I am not in any way trying to steal anyones work here and take credit for something I did not write, I'm merely writing an extension of a chapter that will be submitted to the author directly.

Therefore I decided to copy just the last part of that chapter (Chapter Twenty-Five: Secrets and Showers) -so that the readers will know where in the story they are IF she decide she'd like to use it as a bonus part for her book.

IMPORTANT! Nothing in italics is mine!!! All credit to

My ears picked up the sound of water and I froze.

I'd fallen into August's bathroom and he was showering!

I heard his bedroom door open up as Mr. Firth entered and began speaking. "Ohkmhaka, the maids say your friend was here. Has she left?" he questioned as he entered the room.

'Damn it, August left the bathroom door open!' My thoughts shouted as I pulled myself off the floor and faced the open bathroom door that opened into his bedroom. He'd see me in a matter of moments.

This is why I launched myself into the shower and kept my gaze up as it met August's shocked expression. I slapped my hand over his mouth so he couldn't speak or yell. "Tell him I'm not here." I whispered breathlessly as the water pounded around us.

He nodded and removed my hand. The fact that he hardly questioned my strange actions and motives anymore slightly worried me. He had his whole trust bestowed in me and I would never be worthy of that. "No. She left a few minutes before you got here!" he called out to him.

We could feel his presence linger beside the bathroom door. "Helena said she was poking around the rooms..." he trailed off.

He scowled at me as he spoke. "I was with her the entire time she was here." We could sense Mr. Firth didn't quite believe him. "Do you believe I would have left her alone as I showered?"

This seemed to get him on his son's side. "Alright. I trust you." He headed for the bedroom door. "Some of my clients require my attention in my office. I'll be out for dinner in an hour. Feel free to finish up and come down when you're ready." Something about his tone made me think that maybe for a moment he knew I was in here with August.

But he didn't give me much time to worry about it, the second Mr. Firth closed the door behind him August's lips were on mine as his hands cupped my face.

It took me a second to realise what was going on and another to kiss him back, but the smile I could feel through the kiss as his lips pulled up told me he did it on purpose. Possibly as a payback for when I jumped into his shower without warning.

It didn't take long before my arms were wound tightly around his neck to pull him closer while his hands had wandered down to my waist where he'd started to unbutton my now drenched jacket.

I had to pull up for air and our lips slowly parted as he rested his forehead on mine. When he finally opened his eyes they were so full of emotion I just got lost in the beautiful blue sea that was him. His eyes were like windows looking straight into his soul. And through them I could see everything, although I couldn't understand all of it.

It was an amazing mixture of love, excitement, worry, hope, fear and tranquility. But what completely threw me off guard was the sheer amount of happiness shining through, and it felt absolutely amazing.
