Hid feelings from you and I thought it was just.

I started to grow, you made me stronger;
I decided I should stick around home a little longer.

You came home from work in pain, said it was your fate.
And I whine over the food on my plate.

You became old, same as me.

and now I cry as I look back on the times we shared.
