Not as bad

Chapter 7

"Wait what?" Shadow said looking at sonic in confusion "i- its nothing shadow"  sonic said his voice a litte muffled since he was trying to hide the embarrassed look he had on his face, luckily for sonic shadow didnt notice how red sonics face was "so what so you want to do?" Shadow asked seeming a little bored "um do you have any games?" Sonic said calming down a little bit as he looked at the ebony hedgehog that was leaning against the wall "i only gave a game of cards"

"Honestly, thats really all you have tsk tsk tsk" sonic  crossing his arms and shaking his head disappointed at shadows game choices "hmph, well what else does his highest want to do" "first we can go to the store and get you better games we can even gets some snack's and a movie" sonic said "its not a bad idea but is it really ok for me to be outside now and how will you even get there" shadow said sounding as right as always "well you can always wear a Disguise, and you can"- "no" shadow said interrupting the azure hedgehog "what you didn't even hear what i was going to say yet!" "I knew what you where going to say, and no im not gonna carry you" shadow said "why not!" Sonic said pouting "because i dont want to carry you the whole time" shadow said annoyed how stubborn sonic is "not the whole time at least until we get to the store" sonic said smiling happily "and why's that?" "I want to ride in the cart" sonic said giggling like a child

"But wouldn't it be easier if you just stay here" Shadow said "I'll give you your inhibitor ring" sonic said taking out the inhibitor ring from his quills "deal, but you have to shower before we go"
Shadow said snatching the inhibitor ring and putting it back on "w-what but we should go n-now before the store closes" sonic said trying to persuade shadow so he doesn't have to shower "faker, the store closes in 9 hours" "oh... im not talking a shower!!" Sonic said as shadow got closer "come on faker it will be quick" Shadow said picking up sonic and throwing him over his shoulder "no i dont need a shower!" Sonic said flailing around a bit as shadow started going upstairs "faker do you want me to drop you down the stairs" and with sonic immediately stopped the sound of shadow throwing him down the stairs didnt sound too good so he just stayed quiet as shadow brought sonic to his restroom

Once they stepped into the bathroom it was very clean and looked pretty modern, shadow then opened the glass door with his free hand and gently placed sonic on the floor of the tub "wait here I'll be right back" Shadow said and left sonic sitting there sonic was acting pretty chill but the whole time he was panicking he turned into a blushing mess it was already embarrassing enough that shadow had to carry him but now he's also going to bathe him. Sonic then blushed harder before he could calm down shadow walked in

He was holding multiple thing like a sponge, towel, and a trash bag he set the items on the counter and began to take of sonics gloves and his singular sock he then tied the trash bag on sonics leg cast so it wouldn't really matter much if it got wet

Shadow then took off his gloves and turned on the shower luckily for sonic the water didnt reach him and he ket out a small sigh of relief the "dont be happy yet your still gonna get wet" shadow said taking the head off and spraying sonic with the water making him all soaked "noo stopp!"sonic said trying to get shadow to stop but he didnt he just put soap on the sponge and started to scrub sonic down but had a hard time since sonic wouldnt stop moving

"Quit moving" shadow and srarted to spray sonic more with the water shadow then continued to wash down sonic starting with his arms chest and  his other leg he scrubbed gently as if he was made of glass it made sonic blush because of how carful shadow was being

Shadow put the sponge down and started to rinse sonic once he was all clean shadow turned the faucet and started to dry sonic once he was done quills where all messed up and his hair was all frizzy 'cute' is all he could think of to describe him.

Shadow then wrapped sonic up in the towel and picked him up again but bridal style then but sonic on his bed and took the bag off his leg he went back to the restroom he put the bag in the sink and grabbed a brush

He sat down next to sonic and started brushing his hair "ow!" Sonic said as shadow started to brush his quills out "when was the last time you brushed your quills!" Shadow said as "i dont know i have better things to do!" "Thats not a very good excuse" shadow said fixing sonics quills up making them neater. while shadow was brushing sonics quills sonic felt relaxed and started to get tired he was starting to get drowsy and eventually fell asleep sitting up.

When shadow was done he heard the soft snore's sonic was making and couldn't help but smile 'i guess we can go to the store tomorrow' shadow thought as he put sonic under the covers, and went back to go freshen himself up and get rid of the mess that formed in his restroom once he was done he went to check on sonic

Sonic was wrapped in the sheets laying there peacefully, Shadow sat down on the bed just watching as the blue hedgehog on his bed slept he eventually crawled under the sheets next to sonic but not too close to disturb the other ones sleep

Shadow had a hard time sleeping but it was a natural occurrence for him he thought about just staying up and going upstairs but just as he was about to get up sonic held onto him shadow didnt want to wake him up so he just layed back down sonic got closer to shadow, shadow just sighed and placed his arms around sonic and rested his chin on sonics head

Sonic then started nuzzling shadows chest fur and started to purr the sound of sonic purrs comforted shadow and he soon fell asleep with sonic in his arms.
