Brooklyn knows where she needs to go. She knows what she needs to do. She has to go back to where they started on this planet in order to find the answers she needs. She needs to go back to Amelia Earhart's hut

With this knowledge and with a plan in mind, Brooklyn pushes herself off the ground and makes her way to the forest, retracing her steps back to the beginning

"I thought we had an understanding." Ava tells Mick, crossing her arms over her chest. "You brought me a plan to find the girls and I am going to execute it once we have all of our resources ready."

"We do have an understanding." Mick tells her before he looks around and lowers his voice. "But Jax is declining. Fast. Which means we need to act a hell of a lot faster."

"I told Jax that he needs to trust us." Ava says

"Why on earth would he trust us?" Mick questions with a scoff. "Zari, Behrad, Spooner...they're all recruited Legends post Jax leaving. You were only here for a few months before he left. Nate was here for a year. Between me, Brooklyn, and Sara, we're the OGs that have been here since the beginning."

"It's not my fault that I haven't been here since the beginning." Ava defends

"I know it isn't." Mick tells her. "And I'm not saying it is. I'm just saying...maybe we need to look at it from Jax's perspective. I'm not surprised he doesn't trust half this team. He doesn't even know half this team." Mick looks around, making sure no one else was around before taking a step closer to Ava and leveling with her. "I talked to him. I did. Just like you wanted and like I said I would. But maybe we should take his lead on this."

"His lead?" Ava asks with a scoff. "You know what his lead is, right?"

"I know." Mick says

"So, then, you know that it's not only crazy, but it's not plausible." Ava says

"I don't think it's that crazy." Mick says

"Rory, he wants to go on the offense and find the girls in space." Ava says. "I can't just risk our crew members like that."

"It wouldn't be a risk." Mick says

"Yes, it would be." Ava tells him. "We don't know where the girls are. The only lead we have is what the alien leader looks like from the picture you drew."

"So let's use the picture." Mick says. "Let's take the offense."

Ava sighs, covering her face with her hand and thinking. Mick is quiet, letting her think. She uncovers her face and looks at him. "Look, if you want this plan to work, I need something concrete, okay?" She tells him. "I need you to propose an actual plan, something better than just going into outer space and flying around every alien planet, okay?"

"Okay." Mick says. "I'll let Jax know."

Finding her way back to Amelia Earhart's hut was the easy part. All Brooklyn had to do was backtrack and recount her steps. She did have to estimate a little since the infection was messing with her mind when she was escaping the first time and she wasn't able to count her steps properly. But, now, hiding behind a tree and looking at the hut, she realized that she was still decently accurate...even while being hindered by an alien infection

The only problem was that Brooklyn needed a way into the hut. And right now, there were about a dozen aliens guarding the hut, most likely waiting for either Sara or Brooklyn to be stupid enough to go back to the place. But it wasn't stupidity that brought Brooklyn back to the hut. It was intelligence

Under other circumstances, Brooklyn would have devised a plan to get around those aliens and back into the hut. She loves planning. But right now...well, maybe she can chalk it up to the infection, blame the infection for the ridiculous spontaneity that was about to happen. Oliver would kill her from beyond the grave for running in blind, for not having a plan, but running in blind was the best she could come up with right now. Because the infection was still spreading, the purple veins making their way up to her cheeks just right under her nose

She was running out of time. She needed to get into that hut. She needed to get to the alien that infected her. She needed to go through those aliens

And that's exactly what she ended up doing. The second Brooklyn rushed forwards -- the infection causing her to stumble and not be very graceful like she normally is when she's fighting -- she took out two unsuspecting aliens with a roundhouse kick that Sara would be proud of

And by then, the rest of the aliens were alerted to Brooklyn's presence. The aliens close to her began fighting her while the other aliens a little further away took to shelter and blasting their lasers. Brooklyn was able to do a double back handspring evasion move that almost made her pass out and vomit at the same time but ended up taking out three more aliens. She kicks another alien to the ground in a swift move. She jumps on top of another alien, her thighs around the alien's neck. She twists, snapping the alien's neck and dropping to the ground

About 6 aliens left. 5 were fairly easy to take care of. She did the most stupid thing she could think of that would make Oliver, Sara, Digg, -- literally anyone who had ever helping in training her -- want to kill her. She ran through the aliens that were blasting lasers. The fact that they were hiding on opposite sides helped and she crossed the lasers of the aliens. The aliens ended up hitting each other as she somersaulted out of the way, diving to the ground for cover

And then there was one. One that had snuck up behind Brooklyn and got her in a choke hold. Weapons were dropped from every alien but if this alien managed to cut off Brooklyn's oxygen, then they didn't need a weapon to kill her

Thump...thump...thump...

Maddie's heartbeat. Brooklyn focuses on her daughter's heartbeat, looking at the hut in front of her

She needed to make her way inside. She needed to get to Amelia Earhart, the alien that infected her. If what Brooklyn was theorizing was correct, then alien Amelia Earhart's blood was the answer to curing her infection. She could do it. She was smart. She could figure out a way to engineer an antidote from the alien's blood

Brooklyn jumps off the ground, using the spike in energy from hearing Maddie's heartbeat to knocks the knees out of the alien that had her in a choke hold

Dropping the last alien to the ground, Brooklyn stumbles forwards and rushes towards the hut. She makes her way to the door, not even bothering with the doorknob as she throws her shoulder into the wooden door and it splinters open

And there, laying dead on the floor, was alien Amelia Earhart
