it's been a while my lovelies, how've you all been?

i had said that i would update more since i'm no longer in college since i graduated, but i don't think i ever updated really last year dkdjekiskdhdudjdn

2023 was quite the year for me, a lot of ups and downs but i wouldn't trade it for anything. thank you to those who continued to read my stories and wait patiently for me. i know i say this a lot but i truly am grateful for you all and what you've done for me as not only a writer, but a person.

i'm not the best person to look up to and i don't do much either but i'm always here for you all as i've always been. if you ever need anything, i'm here. you're not alone in this world i promise you that. i'm always all ears for your worries and help. i'm not just a writer to you, i'm your friend.

"How was the strawberry pancakes?" asked Jihyo.

"A million out of ten. I would come here again and again." Y/N said with a satisfied sigh, patting her belly as she leaned back in the booth with a smile on her face.

"Was it that good?" said Nayeon.

"Yes, I meant every word I've said."

"Well we'll bring you here again then."

"Are you all ready to go?" Jihyo asked the group. Once everyone got ready to leave, they all got up to head to the front. Y/N noticed how Jeongyeon was about to pick up the check. Before the older woman could, she grabs it before walking straight to the front.

"Y/N?" Jeongyeon said confused. "Hey, where you going with that check? Y/N?!"

Not listening to her unnie, Y/N continued walking before seeing Sooyoung once again at the front counter. Once seeing her, the worker smiled wide. "How was the food?"

"It was great, thanks." Y/N replied before handing the check. "I'll be paying for everyo-"

"Not on my watch you brat." Jeongyeon says before shoving Y/N over.

"Hey!" Y/N whined.

"What makes you think I'll let our baby pay for us? You must be out of your goddamn mind. I'm paying, that's final." Y/N groaned at this.

"Let me pay, it's the least I could do right now."

"The least you could do is give me kisses-" before Sana could jump onto Y/N's body, Dahyun and Tzuyu held her back.

"Don't mind her." Tzuyu says, waving her hand back and forth as Sooyoung looks at the group in surprise for Sana's flirtatious actions.

"R-right." Sooyoung stutters out before looking back at the two women fighting to pay the check. "So which one of you is paying?"

"Me." both Y/N and Jeongyeon spoke before glaring at each other. "I said it first!" Jihyo sighs at the two before shoving them both aside and bringing out her card.
