"Hey Jake!" I said sitting by him in class.
"Hey y/n/n!" He said back.
"How are you?"I asked.
"I'm good, I aced my Spanish test." He stated.
"That's amazing!" I said.
"I'm glad you think so!"

After class
"Hey you wanna come over and study at my place for our math test?" I asked.
"Sure!" He stated.
"Good because I suck at math, I need all the help I can get" I replied.
"Well I'm at your services, for any help." He said bowing.
I started laughing.
"You don't have to do that."I said.
"To late." He said laughing.

I was sitting in the living room waiting for Jake to show up.
My mom and dad hid every super hero thing in the house.
We should be okay. Hopefully.

The doorbell rang.
"I got it!" I yelled.
I opened the door.
"Hey." Jake said.
"Hi." I said moving so he could come in.
"Mom, dad this is Jake." I stated.
My mom waved.
"Nice to meet you Jake." My dad said.
"You guys look familiar, but I'm sure it's just because y/n looks like you." Jake said.
"Hahah probably." My mom said.
"Okay let's go Jake." I said grabbing his hand and leading up the stairs.
We turned the corner and went into my room.
I quickly let go of his hand.
"We might have to sit on the floor." I gesturing to my messy desk.
"That's fine." He said.

We pulled out the worksheet and went over a few problems.

"Ohh so that's how you do that, I swapped out the wrong numbers." I said.

"Yeah, you needed to divide 5 by x" he told me sitting closer to point it out on the paper.

"That makes more since." I said.

"Yeah." Jake replied looking at me.
He looked at me for a few seconds.

"What?" I asked smiling.

"Nothing." He said smiling.
His eyes drifted to my lips.

He leaned in and kissed me.
I kissed him back.
I pulled away smiling.

" Look y/n I like you." He said smiling.

"I like you too Jake." I said.

"I'm sorry if I suck at this, the first time something like this happened it didn't go well."  He replied.

"What? You're fine. But what happened if you don't mind me asking?"

"It's fine, but she ran off after we kissed. It was a few months ago." He said.

"That's her loss then." I say

"It's not her fault. We couldn't of worked anyway." He stated.

"Oh I get that." I said.

"Yeah. But let's not talk about that because it's not important." He said.

"If you say so." I say.

"You're important now." He said smirking.
For a second I feel like I've seen that smirk before. But I can't remember on who or when or why.

"That's sweet." I said trying to push that feeling away.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked shyly.

"Of course." I say smiling.

"Y/N"
I heard my dad yell.
Thanks for ruining the moment dad.
I rushed downstairs with Jake following.
"Yes?" I asked.

"Can you help me lift these? They are heaving and I can barley lift them." Dad said pointing to the chairs for our backyard.

"I can help too." Jake said

"Thanks." My dad said grabbing one of the chairs.
I barley got it up. These have to weigh a hundred pounds.

I brought it outside.
"How the hell did you grab two chairs Jake?" I asked.

"Oh.. I- I- guess I work out?" He sounded to question himself.

"Oh, okay then?" I said.

"Thanks for the help you guys." My dad said.

"Of course." Jake said.

I walked into school a little earlier than normal.

"Good morning beautiful." Jake said leaning against my locker
"Good morning." I said grabbing a book.

I closed my locker.
Looked at him and smiled.
"Come on." I said putting his hand into mine.
We walked over to Hartley holding hands.
"Woah, when did this happen?!" She asked.

"It's a long story. I'll spill later." I said laughing.
"Better not let mom and dad know Jake." Amy said.
"Why if you don't mind me asking." I asked.

"Yeah Jake, why?" Amy says.

"Our parents are just strict on that stuff." Jake said.

"Oh." I replied.
