As usual I don't plan these things but they happen. Innocent readers, please skip the last half of the chapter. I'll give you enough of a warning.

"I'm going to Jennie's do you wanna come?" Lisa asked Chaeyoung.

"Yeah, I was going to watch a movie with Jisoo anyway when she was done with her homework. She's been busy so we haven't been able to go on dates lately so she asked me to come over."

Lisa had been going to their apartment pretty much every day when she didn't have to practice for a routine or do some photography project to help Jennie plan for her charity event. Lisa always helped with what she could but mostly ended up laying on Jennie's bed as Jennie relentlessly called people on the phone and scolded and persuaded and planned on her own.

Lisa found her very impressive. She was very much a CEO and the fact Jennie was doing all of that in tandem with her undergrad workload, still gaining all A's just so she could be a surgeon eventually made Lisa swell with pride at the fact that her girlfriend, well fake girlfriend, was so damn capable and smart and talented.

Lisa almost felt special. Even if it was fake, the fact she would get to brag on campus because she was the one holding Jennie's hand made Lisa walk around with a shit eating grin on her face.

Especially knowing she was going to pull it off, Jennie kept worrying, but Lisa had seen enough to know she was going to be successful with the event. She worked too hard and was way too smart not to succeed.

So even when Lisa couldn't help Jennie do something like call someone to confirm an appointment or help her organize things or just all around do whatever Jennie needed extra hands with, she inevitably ended up finding herself laying on Jennie's bed and studying or reading, motivated by how hard Jennie always worked.

Not that Lisa didn't work hard, she did. She put in hours upon hours at the studios and her routines and her pictures. It was the reading and the writing and the studying that always got her.

She would bring her laptop and research concepts for her photography or or look up dance routines and she even ended up finding herself looking through Jennie's anatomy books because Jennie had once off-handedly mentioned that it was important for Lisa to get to know her body so she wouldn't get injured and end up having to give up on her dancing dream.

Jisoo answered the door when they got there.

"Hey babe, you're early." Jisoo said grinning towards Chaeyoung, happy to see her girlfriend.

"I know, sorry." Chaeyoung answered, receiving a kiss. "I won't distract you. I need to help Jennie with some marketing stuff for the next surgery case anyway so just call me when you're done with your homework."

Jisoo pouted. "You're ditching me?"

"Kim Gyuri needs me babe! She's in the middle of her surgery and I'm supposed to be posting updates to the website as they give them to me to get people to help her. She's only four babe!" Chaeyoung said, already misty eyed because the little girl's case was so sad.

"I know chipmunk. I'm kidding. Go do your thing. I'll come get you when I'm done with my homework and if you're not done yet I can wait. Don't worry darling."

"You're the best." Chaeyoung said with shining eyes, kissing her girlfriend again.

Since Jennie and Jisoo had so many rooms in their apartment they had somehow converted one of the extra rooms into a makeshift command center for Jennie's nonprofit. Lisa and Chaeyoung found her in there as usual.
