"Thanks" urgh new shift for this month.
Oh what a bad morning to start my monday. Guess what? I'll be in nightshift and i only have 2 restdays wednesday and saturday. The restdays is fine with me but being a nightshift? I dont know i never tried it before. I was taking a few nightshift but not continously.
"Beh ano ka?" I feel like pissing felize today, hmm?
"Tao" she look at me like im the most stupid person she met. This judgemental person!
Kahit kailan talaga ay napaka dali niyang inisin. She rolled her eyes at hinablot ang papel na hawak ko which is my shift. Humugot sya ng isang malalim na hininga bago dahan dahang ibinalik sa akin ang papel.
What the heck happen?
Shes moody huh "What's wrong?" she looked at me with an annoying look, no correction to the paper.
Ohh so.... is our shift different?
"I quit! Bakit lagi nalang tayo hindi mag kasama?" sa itsura nya ngayon ay masasabi mong ang taray nya pero ang totoo ay totoo yon. Mataray talaga sya opo walang dapat itanggi.
"Panget ka kase masisira ang gabi namin kapag kasama ka" nginisihan ko pa sya na puno ng pang aasar.
"You!" she yelled while pinching my arm.
Atleast pareho kami ng day off duh. Ayaw paba nya non?
Si doc kaya?
Tommorow pa mag start ang new shift namin so basically its still lunchtime because my morningshift is today and this is also my last. My morningshift usually starts in 6AM to 6PM and nightshift starts viceversa.
"Nurse Shyn? Can i trouble you for a moment?" Doc Sylverio said he look pretty tense maybe there is someone in the O.R. and they need him there.
"Oh sure Doc anong maitutulong ko?" humugot sya ng hininga bago nag salita "Can you check my patient in the ward? Hes on 3rd curtain. Dont worry just change he's dextrose and you can leave." halos sanay na rin ako dahil madalas nangyayari ito sa amin. Him being a doctor obviously kakailanganin sya oras oras i wonder kung nakakatulog pa ba sila?
"Oh sure"
"Sorry, may naaksidente kasing bus and some are injured and others are critical" He sigh.
Oh god a bus?
Mukhang magiging busy lahat ng doctor ah? Should i be there later? I can help of course i need to be there, silly! Im a nurse so i need to attend some patient there.
"Sunod na lang ako Doc" hindi ko alam kung narinig pa ba nya ako dahil tumakbo na sya. Papuntang ward ay rinig na rinig ang ingay ng mag pasyenteng nag dadatingan sa hallway. Some have cuts and some are on the stretchers.
Tumakbo na rin ako at pinuntahan ang 3rd curtain.
"Goodafternoon , palitan po natin yung dextrose ninyo" he looked at me in confused.
"Where is Doctor Sylverio?" kukunin ko na sana ang dextrose ng iniilag nya ito. Ako naman ngayon ang lumingon sa kanya ng may pagtataka. Kasalukuyan itong naka kunot noo habang nakatitig lamang sa akin. Hes younger than me.
"Doc Sylverio told me to change it because he need to attend some errands" mahinahon kong sagot sa kanya.
Nanatili lang syang nakakunot ang noo. Patuloy pa ring iniiwas ang dextrose. Oh god maraming pasyente sa labas bakit naman ngayon kapa nag sungit bata. I look at him with a smile plastered on my face. "Come on i'll change it" he shook his head.
