The story begins thus.
In the world of Uset Thel, a ceremony is to take place. A binding between a new god and their Archs.
The Archangel, Azra, who was born within the Eldritch Voids, was very young and pure. She was assigned to her patron, Shailo Rein, the God of Purity, before she was ready. This was because her encampment, where she was raised and trained along with other angels to serve under their respective gods, was destroyed by the God of Lightning. It wasn't until she fought against the Dark Eldritch that she received her weapon, the Lance she named Valkyrie. Unfortunately it wasn't long after this that she was to be reassigned. No longer would she serve the God of Purity. Instead, she would return to the Elise de Croyance and bond with her new god, Ikari Zahar, the God of Destruction.
The Archdemon, Nurkara, was also to be reassigned to Ikari. After ten years of enslavement following the death of her partner, she returned to her patron, blinded and covered in scars. Unfortunately due to her absence, her patron, Amilee DerVerurtilung, had to find new Archdemons. And so, Kara was also sent to be reassigned.
As for Ikari, he was a recently redeemed god from another world. Having climbed through every single layer of the Mountain, he had been purified and accepted as part of the pantheon. This was by the will of Salos, the Emperor of Hell.
It is with this binding that Ikari can take his place as the First God of Destruction.
