Hello Everyone!
I started writing this a couple of weeks ago, so here we are!
I don't know where this will go, I'm still unsure on the pairing. I also don't know how much I will write, depends on how many people read this.
As always, feel free to point out mistakes and I'll fix them.
If you don't like it tell me and I'll write something else.

Have fun!

"Wake up and make breakfast you useless freak!" The same tormenting voice that woke him every day. He opened his eyes looking at his little cupboard under the stairs. Light filtered through the crack on the door, he could see very little.

"Yes, aunt Petunia" he answered quickly, thinking back about that time, a couple of weeks before, when he answered "too late" and got beaten for "disrespecting his betters". He had no idea what that meant, he was only five, and his aunt always said that freaks like him did not deserve to go to kindergarten or school. Maybe he was too stupid and didn't get invited.

He greeted his only friends, the little spiders that loved to tickle him at night. Their presence made him feel a little less lonely, even if sometimes he was annoyed when they made webs in his hair. He got up quickly and used his five-minute break in the bathroom. He didn't manage to shower, if he remembered right the last time was a month ago.

He ran to the kitchen and managed to escape his aunt's smacks as she was busy watching her favorite gardening show.
He started cooking breakfast despite barely reaching the kitchen counter and being aware that he wouldn't get any of the food he made. His stomach was grumbling but he couldn't do anything about it. He tried to make everything perfect as he knew that he would be hurt if he didn't. Unfortunately, Dudley woke up too and came to the kitchen. He started making fun of Freak, shoving him around and calling him bad names. After a particularly strong shove, he accidentally raised the flame without realizing it. When he got up from the floor and looked at the bacon it was already too late. It was burnt.

He started to panic. His breath quickened. Maybe he could hide it but he had to move quickly. Unfortunately, before he could do anything Dudley sentenced him to a painful fate.
"Mum! The freak burned the bacon!!" Dudley shouted triumphantly, happy to see his cousin be mistreated and punished.
Freak didn't say anything. He knew that trying to explain made things worse.
"YOU FREAK! YOU CAN'T GET ANYTHING RIGHT! WAIT 'TILL VERNON GETS HERE!" She shrieked before painfully slapping him.

The little five-year-old fell to the ground, awaiting the arrival of the monster he called Uncle. He knew that kids were always scared of monsters, but when Dudley described them they were different from what he imagined. Dudley spoke about big creatures with big heads, many eyes, and tentacles. He thought about a big man with big hands and an angry expression.
Which was the real monster?

"What is it Pet? What got you upset?" Vernon said entering the kitchen. He instantly knew that something was wrong. The freak was on the floor, his hand on his cheek with tears streaming down his face. His Dudders was laughing at the freak's funny expression and Petunia was throwing some burnt food. "It was the freak, wasn't it?" He added as his face started to change color, slowly turning redder and redder.
"Yes! He burned our food trying to poison us! The ungrateful freak doesn't understand that we took him in, we gave him food and clothes! Anyone in his position would be thankful but he destroys everything!" Petunia said before using the still-hot frying pan to hit her nephew.

Freak let a small surprise sound escape his mouth as the hot pan came into contact with his head. It hurt. It hurt so much but he wasn't going to shout or they were going to hurt him more. He watched as Vernon strode toward him before grasping the collar of his oversized shirt and dragging him out of the kitchen. Soon he found himself in the bathroom barely breathing.

"I had the worst week of my life because of YOU! Grunnings cut my pay because of YOU! And now YOU waste the money I made by burning MY food in MY house? Oh no, no. Today you are going to pay." Vernon said with a twisted smile. Harry never felt more scared in his life. Vernon usually shouted about him being ungrateful and then gave him some punches or kicks. He had no idea about what was going on.

Vernon placed him in the toilet and told him not to move. Freak was so terrified that he didn't move a single muscle. He watched as his uncle opened the drawer under the sink and took the product he used to wash the floor.
"Now open your eyes wiiiiiiiide," He said in the sweetest voice he could master creating an even more terrifying situation.

Freak shook his head and closed his eyes tight.
"I SAID OPEN YOUR EYES WIDE FREAK OR I'LL SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR THROAT" Freak complied, opened his eyes, looking at the monster who created all the pain he ever felt.
Vernon poured the substance into his eyes, laughing when the boy started shouting. Freak instead was trying to get off as much of it as possible but he just gave up. Maybe some God would pity him and just let him die. Wasn't it better? Eternal peace. It sounded like heaven against the hell he was living.

Suddenly the front door of the house was taken down. Police officers poured into the house. Freak heard his aunts and Dudley's shouts before the officers got to the bathroom. His Uncle started shouting threats as he was immobilized.
"Can you hear me?" A strong quiet voice asked him. Freak tried his best to talk but whimpers came out.
"Don't worry, I know you are in pain but we are here to help okay?" Harry nodded. "My name is Joanna and I'm a doctor.  I need you to drink this for me okay? We will take you to the hospital and make you feel better."
Freak opened his mouth and swallowed the cold liquid.

The last thing he heard was Joanna's voice. "You are safe now."
