I am Mary Hill, 15 years old I live in London with my mother Fiona Hill, my small sister Suzy Hill and our cat Kuro . We moved here from England 7 years ago after my father's death. My mother's work is of a animal doctor for which I have a attraction with animals too.

My story starts with the terrifying incident that happened in my life 7 years ago, yes the time I lost my father and  left England and moved to London.

I was 8 years old at that time, living in England. "Mommy!" I shouted while running down the stairs "Yes dear. What happened?" She answered "I am going to school tomorrow, I am sooooooooo excited" I exclaimed She just laughs and picked me up and kept me on the couch. "Dad's going to come home soon. So, be a good girl and read this story book" She said handing me a book with the name 'Alice In Wonderland' "Okay!" I said taking the book from her hand as she stroked my hair. I opened the book reading the story from the place I left. It wasn't even 10 minutes before the doorbell rang. "PAPA!" I shouted and ran leaving the book on the couch. Mother opened the door as I ran and hugged my father. "Papa! Welcome back". He kissed my cheeks and went to the living room. "Mary.." I looked at Mother, "Yes Mama" "Dinner's ready, so go and wash your hands till father comes" "Okay" I ran to the kitchen and washed my hands and sat on the chair of the dining table waiting patiently. Mother and Father came after some time. Father sat beside me as mother went to take the plates out. She served us our food. "Myyy favorite food yyyyiiiiiippppppeeeeee" I exclaimed and digged in. Mother made my favorite coriander soup with chicken curry and rice. After I ate I couldn't even move from the chair. "I can't even move. I'm fulllllll." "Mary... you need to brush" "Kayy" I jumped down the chair and brushed my teeth. "Time to sleep" I said yawning while my mother pushed me inside the bathroom. I opened the door of the but I was feeling so sleepy that mom picked me up and placed me on my bed in my room. "Good Night Mary Sweet Dreams" "Good Night Mommy" I said as my eyelids felt heavy and I was lost in my dreams.

Next Morning

"Mary wake up" I heard a sweet voice calling me. I opened my eyes and saw my mother sitting beside me. "Mamma" "Good Morning Mary" "Good Morning Mamma" "Mary today's your first day at school. Did you forget?" I jumped off the bed "Yesssssssssss I was waiting for this day for sooooooo long. I will make new friends today." "Of course you will, but now you have to wake up or you will not be able to catch the school bus on time." I nodded and ran down the stairs and mother opened the bathroom door for me. I stood on a table as without it I couldn't get my hand on the tap. I washed my face and wiped it with a towel. I sat on the chair of the dining table and mom put a plate in front of me. I started eating, and my mother went to get ready to go to the hospital. I finished eating and went to my room to get ready. I wore my school uniform. As soon as I finished wearing my school uniform, my mother called me from downstairs. "Mary! You'll be late for school" "Coming!" I took my bag and ran downstairs. I held mother's hand as we started walking towards the bus stop. We reached the bus stop on time. After reaching the bus stop, it was only 2-3 mins my school bus arrived. I jumped inside the bus and took my seat and bid mother good bye. "Byee" She waved back.
I sat in my seat, with my school bag on my lap. When I reached school, I was feeling a bit lonely as everyone was talking to someone but I was alone, I had no friends. Suddenly I saw a girl walking towards me. She stopped in front of me, "Umm.. h-hi I a-m n-ne-w in t-th-is s-sch-ool" I said stuttering while she smiled and said "I am new here too. I don't have that any friends soooo, will you be my friend? You look friendly." she smiled and shook my hand. Suddenly all my nervousness went away, when she took my hand. "I would love to be your friend but I need your name. Right?" I said. She was embarrassed a little "Ugh, yeah I am Lia Lutyens" "And I am Mary Hill". We both gave our introduction and went to our classes. First class was English. It was my second favorite subject, so, it went quite smoothly. Second was Maths. It was my first favourite subject. While our classes were going, I understood that Lia is very good at studies too. When it was recess Lia and I sat with our lunches. We finished our food quite first, so, we went to the playground to play. We both agreed on playing Hide and Seek. We did stone paper scissors and I got to hide while Lia will find me. She started counting as I went to hide. I hid behind the bushes and giggled. 'She can't find me' I said in my head and started running, where the bushes' led. At one point I tripped over a rock and hit my head against a tree trunk. It hurt like hell! I held the place where I got hurt and sat by a the tree. After the pain went a little I opened my eyes, but I was shock. My eyes widen up and my jaw dropped. 'Where am I?' I thought. There wasn't my school guarding the area from sunlight, instead there was fog wandering around. I stood up and started walking. I walked, then I started running. I was getting scared. "LIA! LIA! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I screamed out of my lungs which hurt my throat. Suddenly I heard someone calling my name. "M~A~R~Y~" I looked around but I couldn't see anyone "M~A~R~Y~" I heard again. I started following the way where the sound was coming from. I walked for some time when I saw a........
