A twisted mind that was existing inside the heads of those who were labeled as humans, to which were going to be punished by a certain god. A god of much power to the tips of their claws, to the tips of their tail, maybe even to the tips of their toes. A female who stood seven feet tall, however not a human; a Valian. A species of animals you might say of any kind; more to be monsters that were once mammals, rodents, or even reptilians from Earth transformed to something more. Something more powerful or even more intelligent. A species that were the same on the inside, but were completely different on the outside. One Valian could be tall and chubby, while the other was short and thin. One having a round, puffy chest, or another having a flat chest with a dented line in the center, or maybe one has breasts. They are all sorts of shapes and colors, and can have multiple body parts. Maybe some don't have limbs and are only given a long wiggly body. Some can have bumpy and scaly skin, with large pointy spikes to defend themselves, while others are covered in fur and have rows of teeth. Each Valian being different - there are no identicals unlike some humans can.
Humans are known to be destructive to the environment, as for that included the animals. Wolves being illegally shot from their territory - rhinos being slaughtered for their horns and rough skin - and tigers killed for their coats of fluffy orange and white fur. Earth is losing over hundreds of millions of species each year because of humans and their excessive needs for meat and fur. And to this, they needed to be punished. How though? How could humans possibly be punished when there are so many of them? Maybe take away one of their most important sources of food and material? Weirdly, that was what happened: Osmodius, the goddess that had enough of their bullshit, had brought over 5 million mammals, rodents, and reptilians to another planet, to which she had created with her own hands. With a touch of the tip of her pointer finger, each animal was transformed into something much bigger, and a lot more stronger than how they were before. With over 70% of Earth's animals missing, humans struggle with feeding each other and it leads to population decreasing, but also leading to more psychotic behavior and cannibalism. To Osmodius, she liked the sight because it meant the punishment was working.
Osmodius created homes for each Valian to sleep in, and food for them to devour as for they had huge stomachs. Each Valian is able to get over 20,000-100,000 calories of food each day. The bigger the body, the hungrier they are. The biggest Valian being over 1,000 pounds and standing 20 feet tall can eat over 90,000 calories. While the smallest is being a little under a foot tall and eating about 500 calories. With drastically fast metabolism, they are always thin but with more they eat, it keeps them healthy. Even though Osmodius led the Valians herself, pretty much being like a leader to them, she would always treat them kindly. "You all are my family...we are family. Every one of us, no matter what.¨"That was always something she'd tell them, standing on the balcony of her home, looking down at them with pride. ¨Treat each other with kindness, and this peace will stay for eternity.¨" All were cheering and shaking fists at her, showing signs of agreement to her speech. That's all it ever was; happiness and peace. Maybe it was because no matter how evil you are, she never cusses you out. It was all comfort, however every single one of them knew not to try with her. She had created everyone with her hands, and they did respect that. On the other hand, we have never known how she came to existence. All we ever got as an answer was "I was not born nor created. Not even I know where I came from." But, no one really cares because she gave us a purpose.
"We are not monsters," said the Valian with the brown dreadlocks, raising a hand with half-curled fingers. "We are beings whom were born to be free and to prosper unlike those sick organisms they called themselves humans. They are nothing compared to us." A rise of cheering mobs could be the only thing heard. Many shakes of fists and 'yahoo', brought on with whistles of agreement. Yeah! Yeah! We aren't monsters!
Thank you.
Thank you? That was a new one. Out of everything her citizens had said, she had never heard that.
Osmodious had lowered her gaze more into the crowd of excited faces, feeling a small crooked smile grow across her cheeks. A feeling of fluttering eroded her chest, which sent tingles down her spine. She raised her chin high, straightening her posture to appear more proud; proud of what she had created. She created this world, against those on Earth, who prey on anything that dares to live.
She then raised a fist, which the crowd followed. ¨Stay strong, my loves.¨ Then within seconds, she had turned around and disappeared from her balcony, heading back inside the mansion that she called home. With this, the crowds began to separate and spread about, while one had stayed. A certain male that hid in the shadows, hunched on all fours with an elbow resting upon his knee, gazed up at the balcony. He lifted a brow, letting his mind wander. The speech she had given was the same, except she added in more quotes. The way she called them 'family', as if she was their mother. The way her eyes lit up from the waves of positivity that passed through the crowds, acting surprised like a pigeon flying right into a window, as if they were that gullible, not seeing the reflections of the glass in front of them. Why should she be surprised by the reactions? She was given the same reactions every time she made a speech. He found it strange, but intriguing.
Losing the hunch, he got back onto his hind legs, returning to his normal height of 7'5 feet. After listening to the long speech, he had decided to head back home, or what he even considered home. It was somewhere in the forest, where trees grew long and skinny, looming over those who passed by. The trees here were unusual, appearing gray with dark stripes that wrapped around the skinny trunks, clinging for dear life. Branches growing out of the trunk, leaning forward to take glances at visitors.
Strolling through the forest, the beast lifted his gaze to see the trees leaning over him, seeing their eyes locked on him. The eyes had the most intimidating look he's ever since, apart from the look given by his father. Their eyes widened to its full capacity, staring into his soul, but even with those dark stares, were the prettiest personalities.
He reached a hand up to one of the trees, watching as they were continuing to lean towards him until his fingers were lightly grazing their smooth trunk. Its surface was covered in crispy gray bark that was split in vertical and horizontal striations. Deep cracks interrupting these patterns, making each strip of bark uneven, and sharp on the edges. It folded some of the tiny hairs on his fingers when he ran them over the bark, to which they returned to their postures when he finished with what he was doing, pulling his hand back. His eyes jumped from one movement to another that the tree made, watching as it pulled away from him, allowing him to continue his walk.
He headed to the entrance of his home, standing in front of it. He lowered his gaze down to a pile of leaves, but these leaves were stuck together, as if they were glued together. It was hiding a tunnel that led to something underground, but no one else knew about this; only he knew.
He lifted the pile of leaves, revealing the huge tunnel, made for his entire body size to go down. Due to his large size, and wide shape, he had no choice but to make it bigger than it was before. He had no other place to live, but that was because he didn't have a choice. He wasn't allowed to be independent, and had to follow orders that were made by his father.
He slide down the tunnel on his behind, safely making it to his destination. Before him was an unbalanced structure of wood planks vertically stacked along side the mini hallway to keep the roof from collapsing on them. This structure was poorly built, but enough to be considered 'stable'. The ceiling was cemented to keep dirt from falling and making it all collapse, however, the floor had not been touched at all.
Raising his gaze, he got onto his hind legs, taking cautious steps, as if he was trying to not disturb anyone. But who was there that he could bother? It was quiet; too quiet. No one was to be seen, but of course, there was one he had to watch out for. Someone with a set of intelligence and power, but of course, not as powerful as the one who created ALL of them. But he was just as dangerous as them.
He took a couple more steps, but froze, his ears swerving around to each sound he heard, and when he thought it was clear, took more steps forward. Then all of a sudden, he was swept off his feet, hitting the ground with a loud thud. He quickly rolled out of the way of the intruder, knowing that they were gonna strike again, to which they did; hitting something against the floor that he was laying on those seconds ago. He got on his hands and knees, looking up to see his father glaring down at him, standing there.
"Oh, hello, father."
