Y/N didn't know how to respond to the text message that her ex boyfriend had sent her while she was mid interview. When Y/N had done filming for her interview she made her way out of the building and because the sun was blinding her eyes she put on her sunglasses and made her way towards her car. When Y/N got inside she slung her bag in the back and when she looked beside her she got the fright of her life when she saw Joe sitting in the passenger seat beside her.
"Joe! What the fuck?!" She screamed in surprise
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you." He replied
"What are you doing here? What the hell are you even doing in my car?"
"Natalia told me you were here, I just needed to see you I miss you Y/N." Joe told Y/N, she took her sunglasses off her face and sighed heavily
"I got your text by the way. I was in the middle of an interview, why after so many months would you send that to me? I have finally moved on and fixed myself due to what you broke and you decide that it's okay to bring all these feelings back to me knowing that I still love you." Y/N said seriously.
"You still love me?" Joe asks as if it wasn't an obvious thing to him
"Don't pretend you don't know Joe, I have so much love for you I stopped coming to set after we agreed to be friends which by the way you didn't hold up your end of the agreement— that's why I stopped messaging and calling you I had to move on and find a life that was past you and I have just managed to do that."
"So are you saying that there is no hope for us?" Joe asks Y/N
"I'm not saying that at all, it's just going to take me time for me to be around you, I wanted to stay friends with you because before anything else you were my best friend and I lost all ghat when you decided that you didn't want a relationship with me anymore or just didn't want one in general. I love you so much I don't think I will ever not love you." Y/N expressed
"I was wrong I was so so wrong about us, about me I want to only be with you Y/N I thought that I wanted and needed to be on my own but I realised that I cannot function without you. Please Y/N I will beg if that's what you want I just want you back." Joe said seriously, Y/N chewed the inside of her cheek and looked away from Joe briefly— all these thoughts were spinning around her head she wanted Joe back of course she did but, she had only just rebuilt her life without him and was doing just fine on her own.
"Do you know how long I have waited for you to say that to me? I waited all those months when we were apart I want you back Joe, I just think we need to start off as friends because I cannot jump straight back into a relationship when I have spent all this time rebuilding my life without you." Y/N explained to Joe seriously
"Okay as long as I can have you back in my life and keep you I will wait as long as it takes and go at the pace that you want." Joe said as he took hold of Y/N's hand and caressed the back of it
"Stop doing that." Y/N told him
"Stop what?" He asked her
"Smiling at me like I'm your favourite person in the world." Y/N whispered
"But you are." Joe told her as he kissed the back of her hand.
