Louise's POV
I was so focused on the pristine laptop that Daisy gave me, working on my project, that I didn't even notice that the window was open, nor the fact that someone sneaked into the room. I just sat there while that person tied to claim me. I felt the texture of a piece of cloth on my mouth, and I screamed as loud as I could, for Daisy, for anyone, but they didn't come. My scream was drowned out by the cloth.

All I could feel was the knock of something hard on the back of my head, and everything went dark.

Daisy's POV

Louise was gone. It was as if someone removed a part of me and claimed it as their own. That was the emptiness that I had felt when I realised that she was gone. Then protective mom mode kicked on in me. I knew that I had to find her, and quickly. She was an asset to SHIELD if persuaded to join our side, but could be a really huge enemy if someone else managed to turn her and make her do bad stuff.

"We have to find Louise."

"Who's Louise?" People were asking curiously. I realised that the whole SHIELD team was here in the room.

"It's time that we tell you the whole truth." Mack said.

Louise's POV
I woke up in an abandoned warehouse. I realised, in my very tight space, that I was in a very very small room. But, that wasn't logical. How would someone put a small room where I could see the exterior? Then I realised that I was actually in a cage. Someone had fitted me with a cage and stuffed me in. I tried to pull apart the bars and escape through there, or will myself to magic my way out of there. But it didn't work. I guess that super strength, locomotion and telekinesis are the abilities that I didn't have.

"Nice to see that you're finally awake." Someone said, walking in, as he walked, crisp footsteps from his shoes were heard on the hard wooden floor.

"Who are you?" I mumbled.

"I don't mean any harm. We just want to run some tests on you and then we'll let you go."

"I don't believe it."

"Ah, you saw through it. We know that you're an Inhuman, and we're here to determine if you're a threat or an asset. If... you resist, you're a threat and we'll kill you. And if you pass our tests, you're an asset, even better, you'll be recruited into the agency for operations. Fight us,and you will be killed instantly. Get it?" I was about to snap back with a snappy retort but I didn't want to die. So I kept my cool and silence.

"Good girl. first, we need to run some tests first. This is going to sting." What was going to sting? I wondered, but I didn't get my question answered when a sharp jab at the back of my neck brought me to my senses. As I turned around, I saw an opening at the side of the cage that I was imprisoned in, and a huge needle retracting. Soon, the needle was completely gone, and the cage became airtight except for the front part.

"That is a serum that will allow us to run the tests on you." The man said, and left the room. I suspected that there was a security camera around, somehow there were spidey senses of mine picking up the danger.

I didn't know what the serum was composed of, but I knew that it wasn't a good thing. If they fed me huge doses of it, I could die. But, no. They had special uses for me. That would just prevent me from escaping.

"Turn your face to the camera." I heard a very cruel voice say, and neurons in my brain started to shoot in all directions, transmitting the message that I had to obey. I had lost control over my own body. The serum must have impacted me more than I thought that it had.

"That's a good girl." The voice said, and the door to the warehouse opened again, revealing two guards. They had guns trained on me, while a cowering scientist at the back held out a key, unlocked it, and let me out.

"Now, follow the guards to the room where you're led to, no funny business, and we can run those tests." There was this void, this emptiness in me, which didn't allow me to feel anything, and I had to follow the guards blindly to the room. What happened to me? What happened to my will? Did they suppress that as well? If that's what they could do, they could do a lot more to me.

The guards stopped in front of a room, and I stopped with them.

"Go in." The guards said in unison, as creepy as I thought that it was, I realised that they must be under the serum to keep them under control, to not make them rebel. I guess that the guards were nothing but human.

I opened the door and it revealed a lab.

"Nice of you to finally meet me." Someone said from the shadows. I looked up, and saw someone in a white mask.

"Let's get the stuff done."

"As you wish." He said, and someone jabbed me in the back of my neck with a needle again. I was just so tired with people jabbing me from behind. I could feel that this one was very different, since this thing shut off my nerve receptors. The messages from my brain didn't even reach the other parts of my body, and it shut down on its own. I collapsed.

"That's a nice girl." I heard the masked man say, and felt myself being lifted up. Then I remembered nothing.

Daisy's POV
I walked around the room anxiously.

"Louise is the Inhuman that we were looking for. The one in the school? Remember her?"

"We do. But how did you get responsibility of her?"

"I asked. And I wanted to. And I have been harbouring her and against whoever's hunting her."

"I know that this is a good gesture to her, but you have to think of yourself and not get yourself killed."

"I know. And now we have to find her." I said, and walked to the monitors, being the hactivist that I have been before I had my powers.

"Do we have a location?" Mack asked. I paused.

"Of course we don't! We have completely no idea where she is."

"I give you permission to go through my room. And scour every inch of it. I don't care what you find in there. Just find Louise. That's my request." I started to walk away.

"What are you doing?" Mack said, chasing behind me.

"I'm going to peel some camera footage of nearby streets. Maybe they have something." I said, and walked off again. I didn't really want to do that, but sifting through camera footage really was one of my best choices.

"I'll leave you to it."

"You know where to find me." I said, taking the elevator upstairs. I hope that I do find Louise soon. No matter what it takes.
