DROWNED

Have you ever been drowned before

Because I did

I was drowned in my actions and wrong decisions in life

It made me a loser

A non-achiever 

A person that has no direction in life

I was pregnant at the age of 18

Had a baby at the age of 19

Had a big scar on my tummy due to a Caesarean presentation after giving birth 

And I was declared a single-parent

Was dependent on my family

No work and money to sustain my needs and my baby's needs

I was like how we supposed to live 

How can I start

Not having enough support system makes me feel that I was so useless

I was all ready to kill myself when I was pregnant

When God saved me

I didn't harm myself

I continue my pregnancy 

Until my baby was born

All the pain and tiredness that I had was already gone

Just by hearing my child cry

She heals my scars

She helps me to move on and continue living

She's a precious gift that I had received above

I never regretted being a mother at an early age I never regretted having her

Yes I can have better life maybe without her

But I chose her and we are better together

Because of her, I was stronger

She became my great support system

She's so sweet, loving, and caring child

And when I was trying to look back

I realized that I'm glad that I did the right thing 

Having her in my life is a miracle 

And I'm thankful to God because of it

And I made it!
