Bonding time-

The 6 have fun for the rest of the time, talking, eating and just having fun. After a while Mike calls Ashlyn to see if the party was over
"Hey dad"
"Hey Ash, did the party end?"
"Yep you can come pick us up"
"Alright I'll be coming"
"We'll be waiting in front of the mall alright"
"Mhm bye"
Ashlyn hangs up
"Ben, Aiden we gotta go"

Ben nods
"Let's go say bye"
The 3 say goodbye, Logan stays behind to go home with Tyler and Taylor, the three stay on their phones and sit there in silence the whole time until Mike arrives, Ashlyn talks with her dad in the car while Ben and Aiden text each other

Ashlyn was upstairs finishing up some homework, Mike and Emma were downstairs watching a movie
"Hey Em can you get the Popcorn"

Emma sits on the couch next to Mike, she places the popcorn bowl in between Mike and her and eats a piece of popcorn
"So how'd the party go?"
"Oh they had fun, I'm glad ashlyn's getting close to them"
"I still can't believe she's actually having fun with other people"
"I'm shocked we can finally do all the 'parent things' we've always wanted to do"
"..yeah I'm glad" Emma smiled
"Yet we won't ever get to see Ashlyn date someone"
"Even if she wanted to I'd never let her Em."
"God why are you so boring"
"It's not like she's ever actually date someone"
Mike hears someone walking down the stairs, he looks back to see Ashlyn.
"Hey mom, hey dad"
"Hi honey" they replied in union
"So Ash how'd that party thing go"

Ashlyn thinks about the kiss, it was all replaying in her mind for a while.

"I can't believe you're actually getting close with them.."

"Hmm.. putting a glass up to your door to see what you're talking about at sleepovers, having memories of your friends at your birthday, actually having parent friends and obviously crushes"
Emma nudges Ashlyn,smirking
Ashlyn starts to feel herself getting hot
Mike laughs

"Cause Ashlyn would never have a crush. like- ever."
"So ash, you don't have a crush on someone?"

"...yeah" Ashlyn hesitated for a moment, someone was on her mind.It was Aiden.
Emma smirks with a knowing look on her face
"Hey Mike can you make me a cup of coffee?"
"Now? It's kinda late-"
Emma glares at Mike and smiles
"Yep going."
"Come sit next to me Ashlyn."
"alright?"
Emma eats some popcorn
"So you have a crush, who is it?"
"I said I didn't like anyone"
"Yeah sureee ash, you hesitated there's someone on your mind"

"Yes there is. I'm your mom it's not like I'm gonna tell your dad or anyone as a matter of fact. If you wanna keep it a secret that's alright I just wanna talk about these things with you "
Emma smiles,straightens herself
"I promise I won't tell a single soul"
Ashlyn sighs and lies down on the couch with her head on her moms leg
"Fine. But I don't like them I just thought of them but I haven't admitted anything."

"Of course ash"
"Well I hesitated cause I thought of aiden.." Ashlyn mumbled

"I could've never guessed it was him" she whispered
"Yeah me neither."
"I guess he is kinda cute? He seems to care about you though"

"has anything happened?"

Emma stopped to see Ashlyn blushing but she was angry, she'd have this little cute, flushed face when she was embarrassed

"Also Aiden is no longer sleeping ANYWHERE near you during sleepovers."

"Okay fine sorry" Emma was still smiling
*spending time with my parents was always nice.. but now I also had friends to spend time with.. I think my life is at a peak point, I'm glad it is* Ashlyn smiles
"Aw you guys had mommy daughter time without me"

Mike hands Emma the coffee
"Ash you want some"
"Sure dad"
