Chapter 2:
Ashtyn's Point of view
It has been a month and a half since I have found out that I was pregnant I have only a few more weks until I graduate and head off to the school of my dreams FIDM which stand for Fashion insitute of design and merchandising.
"Get up you no good for nothing ." My father yelled through mylocked door I have been upp for a while i have been packing for the move in three weeks i have to ship everything in about two. I don't answer him just continue with what I'm doing and get ready to go take my final test of my high school years. I get to school to and head to the gym where my test is to be taken. I'm stopped by the assistant principal.
"Are you Ashtyn Renolds?
"Yes I am. What can I do for you?
"As you probab;y already know you are ranked nummber one and that person gives out the speech at graduation and is apart of that committe so they start today after school hope to see you there." with that she left me in thbe hallway.
The test wasnt hard just really long and i wanted to sleep but here i am at the commitee meeting for graduation.
"Who are you?" Asked Amber number two in ranking
"Ashtyn. Can we get on with this meeting i need to get to work, ffinish packing and my project along with writing my speech?"
"Well since I'm the highest rank here I'll take charge--
"Actually Ashtyn is the highest rank."Principal Merryweather said as she walked in to supervis the meeting.
"What do you mean? I'm rank number 2 and she is number 8."
"That is Ashley not Ashtyn. Ashtyn is ranked number 1 she is incharge, you should listen to her you may learn something." To say tha Amber was speechless waqs an understatement she was also heated there could be steam coming out of her ears but I'll give her a break.
"Okay so outside or inside?" was my question in return i got 4-inside and 5 outsides
"outside it is, formation ranking or alphabtical order? that i got a all for one vote by ranking
"Order of ceromony wil be as following:
*greetings and welcoming by Mrs. Merryweather
*presenting of top ten rankers backwards-- "what does that mean?" Ashley asked "it means starting with number ten down to one
*presenting of the highest scholarships
* introduction of the speaker (Valevictorian)
*speech
*Fomation for recieving of diplomas
*show of transfoemation
*slideshow of years in high school
*last encouging words
*last formation
*moving of the tassels
*last move and throwing of the caps
"Any questions?" i asked
"That is why i told you to pay attention amber she was born to be a leader and get things done in a reasonable time matter I think that is all for today be here tomorrow.?" Mrs. Merry weather diusmissed us which was fine with me since i need to get to work.
Arriving at work Karen looked stressed. "Hey, what is going on?"
"the owner is here and it has been a busy day go on back and start on the paper work and gewt your homework done then be a doll and help me." That is exactly what I did, I also had a talk with Mr. Dean the owner to say he was impressed that i was able to do all that i was doing made me feel good. If you are wondring if I am still pregnant I am but that doesn't change a thing I will love this baby and do what i always dreamed of doing. When things get hard you don't stop you work harder.

"Our highest scholarship top five are
05- Damien Smith at Yale university full ride
04- Ginger Starr at Stanford full tution paid
03- Amber Rose at the universitiy of Califonia Los Angelos realiance placement (helpher get a job)
02- Justin Kings at St John's reseacher center full ride and intership
01- Ashtyn Renolds Fashion institue of Design and Merchandising full ride, internship shadowing of designers, recruting pay and paid to attend class
As the clapping died down I knew it was about time to do my speech and as Mrs.Merryweather introduced me the clapping increased then died as I stood to give my speech.
"Hello, I stand here today with the task of giving the speech many have dreamed to give or simply not want at all. My fellow classmates knew me as the girl that hid from everyone. My name was never on the ranking list and many thought I was a low life that never would mount to anything. My name have never been there but my spot has always been blank, from day one of high school the ranking list was a symbol to achieve greatness everyone thought that blank was to push everyone harder but it was dimply because I didn't want to be known. As the ralization on some your faces appear of how happy i was in middle and elementary to why was i so sad in high school the summer before high school my older brother was ran off of the road by a high school drunk driver he died on impact, i stand here and can that was the worst and best day of my life. It was the worst as I lost my best friend and my parents turned abusive, but the best as i knew that i would have to live to follow my dream like he always wanted me to. We leave this school to day with a simple peice of a paper stating that we are ready to continue to the next chapter of our lives the people we were in high school no longer matter we have to become new people. In high school many were so ungrateful of what they have, for instance Amber Rose was mislead her whole life that no one was better than her but when she found out that i was number one she grew up to become a woman that knew there was always competion somewhere in the world. High school should have been fun for me for the actual work was never hard but it was a living hell; not only for me b ut also for many others Kara Hall was bullied out of school simply because she was pregnant no one ever stopped to ask her how it happened or how ahe felt no one care, no one cared that she was raped or that she simply couldn't fathom the idea of getting ride of an innocent life no one cared or will understand however i understand not because i asked becaused it happened to me that is why high school is only a phase that we pass through it will never fully define us or stop us for moving on in life but certian events will change our lifes. the choices that we make here on out effect more than our social group status but the way the world looks at us and were it takes us. I finish my speech by saying the foot you put first should be what feels right without going backward but with grace." Once i finish we formate to get our dipolmas all the while everyone is clapping and cheering. We continue with the ceromony as planned and we head off to start our lives. As i am walking towards karen someone stops me.
"You took everything in stride and have set a great role model for your child I wish i was more like you." Kara Hall says
"We have to and you are great mother, i also heard you got in to your dream school, hope to see you there." I feel great and can't wait to start my life. I have the move starting with shipping tomorrow then heading to LA. I'm doing this for us all.
