I love life, I love people,
I love friends, they love me-
Relationships are hard,
But I always work in heed;
Of course, it isn't easy,
But I try, it keeps me happy.
I like to think so, anyway. Truth is, I don't like a lot of relationships. Some are one sided, some aren't fair, some are toxic, it's just hard. And I love life, and I love people, but that feeling is rarely reciprocated. It just sucks sometimes.
Although I try, although I'm sly,
All through my struggle, all through the by and by-
It takes two to tangle, and normally the two are so different it doesn't work.
Or course, it isn't easy,
But sometimes, it is not even fun.
I like to think so, anyway. Relationships are a two way streak, and it takes two to tangle, but sometimes those just don't work. People are fallible, and the more effort, the more feelings, the more time you put into people, the more you realize that some thing end up as one sided. One person carrying weight.
