This story was born in 2020 during lockdown. As I was stuck in my house, unable to travel and venture out into the world, my mind traveled to a land of wonder and possibilities. It all started with a character my 12 year old self created: Julianne. Throughout the years her character design and backstory changed quite a bit, along with the story of Kingdoms, which kept growing in complexity as I fleshed out the details. I attempted to write this story multiple times in the past, but it never turned out the way I wanted it to. So, here I am in 2026 and pleased to present you with the final version of Kingdoms in a writing style that will hopefully do it justice. I really hope you enjoy reading Julianne's story and don't hesitate to ask any questions and share your opinion. I would love to hear your thoughts.
