Chapter 14 - Seriously....

"...." Mikey looked down and then turned his head towards me again realizing I was there, fully waking up "Y/N-CHIN!!!" He screamed throwing himself on me, I managed to keep my balance without falling, hugging him. "I'm happy to see you too Mikey but you're heavy", "Oi Y/n-chin, I'm not that heavy!" He said sulking

"Y/n-chan could you style his hair? In the meantime I will go to buy him some dorayaki so he'll shut up. You know how he has it, right"

"Um, I'll take care of it here, don't worry." Draken left the room so now I was alone with Mikey who sat on the couch smiling waiting for me to start. You went behind him and took the comb that was on the sofa, I picked up the bangs leaving two locks free.
Thinking that Draken does this every day made me think how extraordinary that man is, Draken has earned even more respect from me...... if this is even possible

Once I finished tying his hair I took his cheeks tightly, in response he looked up at me with his black eyes. He looked like a hamster with those big and soft cheeks "Y/n-chin stop itttt, you are tickling me" he said looking at you with a pleading face "Okayyy" I took my hands off his cheeks

After a long eye contact Mikey asked me "Why did you come here Y/n-chin? Did something happen?"

"N-no, nothing happened. It was just that I wanted to spend some time with you," I said trying not to give the exact reason for that visit.
"Did you miss me?~" he said smiling

"Of course I missed you Manjiro" I said saying his name. I rarely called him by name and that made Mikey blush slightly. You moved to sit on the sofa, to the left side of him, so that it wasn't uncomfortable for him to look at you

"Listen Mikey, did something happen these days? I mean, is everything's okay?"

Mikey at that question raised an eyebrow laughing "I'm fine, everything.... great" he said looking down, even though he was smiling I could see that his eyes were sad. Without saying anything I side hugged him carrying him in my arms to find comfort "Mikey.... I see that there is something wrong, if you want to let everything out, I'm always here okay? You don't have to hide it" you smiled

Mikey said nothing as he hugged you and cried silently, you had never seen him so vulnerable, so weak. He tightened his grip on your clothes fearing that if he would ease up the grip I would disappear and leaving him alone "Sssh... I'm here, I'm not going anywhere," I said stroking his hair.

Mikey was on top of me while I was lying on the sofa to be more comfortable, after 5 minutes I no longer heard him cry but on the contrary, I heard him snoring lightly. I smiled to myself, thinking it helped somehow making him relax a bit, I continued to stroke his hair. "Everything will be fine Mikey, me and Takemichi will save everyone and never abandon you"

I saw the door open and Draken entered with a bag of dorayaki in his hand "what happened here? Why is that idiot sleeping again?!" He said putting the bag on the coffee table

I looked at Draken putting a finger in front of my mouth "Keep your voice down, he's just resting." I said then looked at Mikey "He needs it"

"You're too sweet with him" he said sitting on the other sofa "But you are too~" I teased him "Without Mikey asking, you went to buy him dorayaki right away~"

"Shut up!" He said blushing with embarrassment and his reaction made you laugh. You saw that Mikey was also smiling unconsciously because of the happy atmosphere.

After Mikey woke up you explained to him how you had to leave because you had to buy food for lunch since you had nothing to eat at home. It was Saturday so there was no school and you had time to relax.
