Margot Wilder had been distrusting of people, particularly men, since a young age. Having been raised solely by her father, who had been left unhinged after the sudden death of her mother, she had taken on so much inhumanity that she believed everyone to be cruel at their core.
Working day in and day out, Margot believed that there is nothing to life except for survival. She had lost track of the days, as they had all begun to blur together.
When Margot's partner proves to be demented, she picks up everything and takes a leap, moving to Mystic Falls, Virginia to be close to the only family she has left, her cousin, April Young.
Here, she discovers phenomenon that she never thought to be possible, and her days begin to fall into place once again.

This story will include characters and some plot lines from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, which I do not own, however this story will not follow TVD plot and I will be changing many events.
