Shore Sided Love [KazuhaxReader]

Chapter 1- The Meet

                                      -on shore-
"Captain (Y/N)!" A familliar voice yells, it was your friend Beidou a fellow Captain she's known you ever since you were 10 she's been taking care of you "Ahh beidou any new discoveries" you say as you notice her and she sits down next to you, she tells you about recent merling calls and ask if you wanted to check it out "Come on it'll be fun! Plus you may be able to find treasure" Beidou says condidently "I don't know there could be consequences, but i guess i could check it out" you leave beidou and prepare to set sail into the seas to find a merling? Guess beidou was right ahaha "Nice singing" you compliment the merling "I- I thought I was alone!" The timid merling replies "Don't worry I won't tell anyone" You say reassuring the merling "If you say so... say why don't I just.." he steals your pendant and dives into the water after putting something on your wrist, he surfaces again to drag you into the water, you chase eatchother until sunset until you needed to return to your crew "Oh and you don't need to give the pendant back, you can keep it" you smile to yourself and return to the shores to find Beidou worried "your pendant.." She says shaking "Don't worry about me I dropped it in the middle of the sea" Lies. She knew you were lying but decided to let it slide you return to your ship to one of your crew members
"Captain. Do you ever feel like you're losing your mind?" Aether says  "Always." You reply "I've been hearing merling calls and I want to follow them!" He  exclaims. "You know what happened to my father. i will not allow to lose you aether. I cannot risk losing another to siren calls" aether starts to yell " BUT YOUR CONVERSATION WITH CAPTAIN BEIDOU!  YOU WEBT OUT TO SEE AND RETURNED WITH TOUR PENDANT GONE!" You sigh and explain everything and he was left in shock, then a silhouette of a familiar merling apears behind aether "I knew I couldn't trust you Captain. It's fine but if word goes out.. I may not wanna tell you" Kazuha says "I'm sorry.. I couldn't be a man of my word" you reply feeling guilty but you knew if you lied the situation would get worse "So how long will you stay like this?" Aether asked "I have a temporary charm that allows me to be able to be on shore, so about a few days" he answers "well you should be going back to your home" kazuha nods and dives into the water while you smiled and aether just had the smuggest look you've ever seen "i didn't know captain had a crush on a merling" he says teasingly "tease me like that again and i'll kick you off my ship dumbass" you reply
