The metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, act as the places where dreams materialise. The place might be different, the environment might be difficult, but the ones who work hard, always succeed in materialising their dreams. Such is the story of Anupam and Rajshri Rathore. They own a business in the city of Mumbai. They are happy in their lives with their only son, the apple of their eyes.
It's a fine day but the little boy, who's 6 years old, is sitting gloomily on the couch. His mother glances at him thoughtfully. This boy is unusually quiet. It's a Sunday, but he is sitting quietly. His father is away for a meeting, so his mom sits beside him.
"Kya baat hain? Mera beta itna udaas kyun hain?" Rajshri, his mother asks lovingly.
"Kuch nahi, Ma." He says, turning his head away from his mother.
"Apni maa ko bhi nahi batayega? Kya hua? Aaj koi dost khelne nahi aaya?" She asks him.
"Sab busy hain. Aapko pata hain, Anuj ki choti behen aayi hain uske ghar. Aur Vipul bhi apni didi ki ghar gaya hai. Uski didi Delhi mein rehti hain" He says, telling about the cousin sisters of his friends.
" Arey, toh isme udaas hone ki kya baat hain? Main hoon na, chalo, aaj main aur tum khelte hain." She says, trying to cheer up the boy.
"No! Mujhe nahi khelna." He says adamantly and jumps off the couch while his mom calls her name.
"Sachin! Ye kya harqat hain? Maa bol rahi hain na ki wo khelengi tumhare sath! Fir itna gussa kyun ?" Rajshri says, dejectedly.
