"Give me the defib charge too 200" the doctor ordered He placed the defibrillator on vons heart
"CLEAR" he yelled causing vons body to jolt but he was still unconscious
"Charge to 450" he ordered one nurse continued to pump vons heart while the doctor fixed the defibrillator
"CLEAR" he said but von was still flatlining
In that moment the nurses all knew what that meant but the doctor wasn't gonna give up just yet.
"Charge too 500" the doctor ordered once more
"Doc he is d-" one of the nurses spoke but the doctor quickly shot his eyes at him.
"Clear" he said von continued to flatline. The doctor took of his glasses and huffed
"Time of death 11:17" he called out
One nurse put a cover over his head as the rest started clearing out the room. Once the doctor turned to leave out the room with everyone else vons machine went off before the nurse could cut it off indicating that he was alive. All the nurses were astonished and couldn't believe it he was literally a miracle.
"Don't just stand there get that blanket off of him and get him down the OR for surgery. He didn't have much injuries he just had a big burn on the side of his stomach and the doctors detected a small shard of glass on the outside of his heart from the blast that they had planned to get out before it got pushed deeper. However the doctor wants radiology to check him again because of the mention of Ari whom is not a patient
"Be careful with this one emmet he is slipping" the doctor said passing him off to a surgeon in an elevator.
He then walked into the emergency side of the hospital. This side is where the ambulances come and bring patience who are in crtitical condition.
"Hey Mary" He spoke to the 5'6 white woman with hazel eyes

"I need to check the written patient records I'm looking for a patient who is supposedly at this hospital by the name of Ariana fletcher she is a car blast victim she came in supposedly with a patient by the name of dayvon Bennett"? He asked
The lady opened the binder searching she stopped at the page labeled A and went down the list but nobody named Ariana. She then turned to the page with the letter F on it and went down the list she couldn't find nobody by the name of fletcher either. She huffed and look back up at Howard.
"Sorry honey there is nobody in this hospital listed as a patient under the name of Ariana fletcher" she said
"Wow Um okay. Should have knew more better then to listen too a blast victim who I'm sending back to radiology for a thorough exam. Thank you darling" he said getting ready to walk away
"Uh, Howard actually I think I might have found the patient your looking for. The hospitals morgue list just updated and unfortunately the patient was pronounced dead at 11:00" she spoke with sorrow in her eyes.
Doctor Howard huffed he knew von would be out of surgery in the morning but telling him that his wife is dead would only make it worse for his heart. He could possibly go back into cardiac arrest. He thanked Mary and made his way down the morgue.
Nobody was down there. He punched the keys into the door and scanned the body freezer. He quickly located the last name fletcher and pulled the freezer open. Sure enough a woman laid on top. Even through the cuts he could tell she was beautiful. He looked at the toe tag double checking the name. He pushed her back in the freezer and locked it.
"Poor boy. I know this is gonna break him..."
