Von woke up in a hospital bed. His head was banging and his ears were ringing. The bright light of the hospital lamp stung his eyes causing him to forcefully close them back shut. He rubbed his eyes and blocked the light with his hand. He yanked the cords out of his body causing some of the machines to go off.
Nurses began spilling into the room crowding him trying to restrain him. He heard there voices but it was all distorted. He mumbled Ari's name continuously but it was like no one could hear him. They tried pushing him back on the bed but von put up a fight with all of his strength. Security had to come In and they managed to get him on the bed with restraints.
The nurse grabbed a needle and stuck it in his arm causing his body to completely calm down. He couldn't move he couldn't think he just wished it was all a bad dream. After about an hour went by Von had completely gained back most of his memory. Although his body was still weak. He tried to get the restraints off of him. A doctor walked in holding a clipboard.
"Mr Dayvon Bennett?" He asked shutting the door from behind him. Von nodded his head
"I heard you woke up in an uproar. That's usually what happens. After a blast" he said grabbing a chair sitting at a computer.
"M-my wife and m-my baby did they make it?" Von asked trying to push the words out of his mouth. He didn't wanna ask and it be the answer he dreaded to hear. He would blame himself for it for the rest of his life. He rather hear the truth then to suffer wondering if they are alive.
"Wife and baby ? Hmmm I wasn't aware that you didn't come in alone. Sir can you please tell me your wife's name?" He asked
"Ariana fletcher"
The doctor typed her name into the computer but no patient in the hospital came up by that name. The doctor was under the impression that dayvon was the only car blast victim
"Sir and that's F-L-E-T-C-H-E-R.?" The doctor asked earning a head nod from von
The doctor looked at his charts to make sure that the radiologist didnt miss anything when taking X-rays of von's head.
"Um sir there's no patient by the name of Ariana fletcher in this hospital" the doctor looked at von
"Well check the fuck again that's not right" von mumbled. He felt his lungs get too tight and the air in the room started running out. Vons eyes rolled into the back of his head and he started having a seizure. Some of the machines that were hooked up went off causing a bunch of nurses to bust into the room.
"CODE ZERO" the doctor yelled
"He is going into cardiac arrest. Prep him for surgery" the doctor told a nurse. Vons patient monitor began to flatline leading nurses in a frenzy.
