He let go of your shirt, pushing you back, causing you to stumble, and almost fall. "Yeah- I do, kinda hard to not... you're, the... only one talking." Were you coping-? Or trying to do that 'bigger animal' 'fake confidence' tactic? Cause it. . . Wow, it was failing.
"If Sun didn't . . ." His eyes brightened, he cut himself off, a squeaky squeal leaving his voice box, as if something was trying to block him out.
". . . I was.. sorry." You apologized, you couldn't tell if it didn't anything.

He backed up, plopping on the floor, stting down crisscross, you 'inspected' his design from afar for a few seconds, he glared at you, his face-plate idly swaying as he tried figuring you out, at least a bit.
"Are those claws?" You blurted out, refraining a smile from creeping up on your face.
Going up to him, you sat infront, staring at his hand for a little while.
Before you tentatively traced a finger down one of his nails

"Don't touch me." Moon hissed, not bothering to move. You glanced up at him, "Holy shit dude. That's pretty cool. Are these retractable?" You say, poking the top of a nail, there was the same sound of static distaste, but it was much quieter.
"No."
"Oh- That's pretty sharp.." You whisper retracting a hand.

You heard him scoff, and you glided a thumb over his hand, you've been way pushing your social limits today."Can I paint your nails?"
"Y/n." He interjected, which was definitely a 'no'.
"A nice hot pink? Or, we could do black. Black is fine, it'll match you!"

"...No."
"Blue! You would even know it's there! Until... It starts peeling off... We don't have to paint your nails today I have any nail polish right now... But I can get some!"

"No."
"Geez- is that the only thing you're about to say?-" Quoting at a time like this, how shameful. "-Well, How about Sunny? I should paint his nails.. Does Sun have claws?" A smile stretched on your face, now that would be fun. And less risk.

"No. Sun doesn't." There was hardly a distinguishable tone besides irritation, which finally snapped you out of it.
"Oh. Sorry-" You cringed a bit, the switch up was embarrassing as hell.
You heard a small electrical sound from above.

Click.

. . .
You watched fascinated, as different plates on their body flipped and shifted, Moon's faceplate folding out, and folding behind Suns, the hat retracting with a jingle, and the idyllic bright orange rays popped out.
"Y/n! I'm SO sorry! I must've lost track of...?" Sun went quiet, his voice switching quickly from worry to confusion, you made eye-contact with him for a second, before letting go of his hand, and pulling your hand back to your side.
"Uhhh- Nothing."

The problem wasn't that you were holding his hand, no, not really. It was the fact that you looked like you were about kiss his hand. You know, out of context, It's kinda weird.
You exhaled through your teeth.
'I suddenly don't want to be here.'
Sun gave you a stare, then looking down at his hand, And rubbing his wrist. "UhKay... Then I'm guessing nothing bad happened?"
"No, I'm fine." At least one thing you could say confidently.

"That's good to hear. At least Moon doesn't seem violent to you for now.."
"For now?" You raised a brow, you thought things weren't going too badly.
He sighed. "I can't make any promises. Either you'll be able to befriend him, which..." He trailed off, waiting a few beats before just moving to the next sentence, "Or, Moon will slowly start to hate you. And that would be terrible... Moon likes to.. act on whatever he's feeling."

"Hm.." You pouted out a bit, mainly in thought. Act on whatever he's feeling? Explains the static, chances are he probably just does anything on his mind, though that doesn't mean being irritated would make him fist fight you right away.
"I'm not saying there isn't a chance of him warming up to you! Even I wouldn't know... Moon doesn't really.. Talk to any adults." Sun really isn't good at comfort.
"What about... Kids?" This is just another daycare attendant if you think about it,
"I doubt he would ever hurt a child... Maybe. Buut-"

You paused. "This may sound bad- But- Why isn't he out of commission?" This would be hell if Moon somehow heard that.
"Hm... If they put one of us out of commission, both of us may be. And... We are 'relatively' New animatronics, So they wouldn't replace us just yet... Money issues and all!"
"Ah... Alright."
He shrank back a bit. "I guess if they do get enough money..." Sun stopped himself from saying anymore.
"Oh." You frowned a bit, if this tall goofy animatronic started overthinking just like you, because of you, you'd feel hella guilty.

"BUT! You know Y/n... IF you manage to get him to warm up to you... you could calm him down way more than I!" Sun clapped his hands together, always the brighter side of the sky, huh?
You puffed out an exhale, crossing your arms, "That'll never happen." You said blankly, after all, people already didn't like you, imagine how judgy robots would get?

Sun gave you a smile. And a few seconds later, he pounced on you, wrapping his arms around your neck, but it was light. There was a pause as you felt him go still, quickly pulling away with a large smile.
"Sorry! Sorry... Just to.. make up for the last hug."
